The news said there was recall on kids jewelry as it was toxic! I would not buy anything for a child from a dollar store or buy and any food or tooth paste!

The toothpaste and stuff is the same brand as you get at the more expensive stores. If you aren't afraid of buying it there, why would you be afraid of buying the same thing at a cheaper price? You have to be careful of kid's toys no matter where you buy them. Most of that jewelry was sold at Toys R Us or Wally World.

I plan to go thrift shopping next week... I want to see if I can find some cool stuff for my apt. I never can find anything in my size when I go thrift shopping but it's useful for other items.

I have odd size windows, I hope you have better luck finding curtains at thift stores than I do.

One time at the dollar store, I smelled a cat lady. Yes, I smelled her as if she let her cats peed all over her clothes. And later noticed she was buying lots of cat food for her cats. I felt bad for her, because it seem to me that she needed kitty litter too, but they don't sell it.

Can you find that on the Internet and post it? Otherwise we can't know its credibility.

I will go to our Dollar General store in town to get items cheaper such as Cokes, Folgers Coffee in the little cans, and even cards and gift bags.

I've been to the $1 Shop, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc but I never buy anything there. It is just cheap stuff that amounts to junk really. Almost like it is the Walmart and Kmart castoffs and these stores are stuck trying to sell items that never sell.

I sometimes do, but most the the stores I've been has been pretty disorganized. I have to hazardously weave my way around the store as many item placements is major tripville.

I'm surprised that their regional managers don't jump on the manager's ass for the messy layout they put up. It's a lawsuit in the making.

Yes but I have spoken with the manager of our local Dollar General Store about the the layout of the store and she said they don't get a choice of items received to that store, they have to sell whatever is sent to them and often they can't really plan for what is coming. A lot of the time she never sees or hears from the district manager. However if I were the manager I would be asking for a bigger store, more storage, and more floorspace to place the items.
