They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius, the other's insane

Their genes have been spliced
They're dinky
They're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain,
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain

Before each night is done
Their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the sun
They'll take over the world

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign
Is easy to explain
To prove their mousey worth
They'll overthrow the Earth
They're dinky.

does anyone even remember bell bottoms???
Yes. The longer and wider, the better. Especially if you wear them long, and let the edges get frayed from dragging on the ground. Or "personalizing" the leg hems and seams with embroidery (flowers, smiley faces, peace signs). Very "hippie" cool.

And how about this... anyone remember when Cabbage Patch Dolls were all the rage???
Yes. My mom was able to get one in CT for my daughter that Christmas. She was amazed! They were very, very hard to get that year. She still has that Cabbage Patch--a red-headed girl.

And Dynasty... how we used to be glued to the TV set when Dynasty was on...

I still say the scene with Alexis and Krystal... damn... cat fighting in the fountain was the best of all!

Wowza...!
Yes, BIG hair and BIG shoulder pads for the women!

Someone mentioned toys of the 80s - G.I.Joe.

What about Transformers vs. GoBots? Transformers were better looking and eventually won the robot changing type.

Also those days, the Transformers are mainly metal and now I noticed that newer one are plastics.

Do you remember G.I. Joes were pretty popular back in the 80's?
My brother had the original GI Joes in the 60's. My grandsons have the new GI Joes. I used to borrow my brother's GI Joes to date my Barbies. The Joes were much hunkier than Ken.

And more anatomically correct? :)

Also remember those neon shoelaces? When I was in grammar school, they were called Breakdance laces.

Yep, I had one of those. Kind of frustrating to use; I was not patient enough.

:dance2: Yeah I remember the Volkswagen vans, with peace signs on them and also all sort psychedelic designs on them.

Does anyone remember what we used to do with the gum wrappers? We would fold them up and interlock them to make a big long chain?

Yes, my grandmother bought one for my older sister in the 80s and a security guard had to escort her to the car for protection from the crazy shoppers!
