Do you rely on the hearies or the deafire for computer/internet expertise?

just wonder, and to what extent over another ??

myself a mix of both....for extreme high-end linux i rely on my hearing mate, for windows-based ordinary (well not THAT ordinary).....a deafies...........but the have backings of a hearing famileis.
 
It's never been something I thought about when having computer problems.
 
yeah well, it just doesn't seem to get mentioned much.......so im asking....
 
Those things only matter with face-to-face help and most of my computer problems are fixed using Google.
 
I will have my daughter call for tech support for me, I have trouble understanding people with an accent while on the phone.
 
I have a computer tech...who is awesome..and reasonable....I'm a flat-out dummy when it comes to computers...it's like something from Outer Space...:giggle:

I would ask anyone based on his/her expertise - regardless of age, gender, race, religion, color, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other legally protected category
