I used to buy scratch off tickets when I lived in Ohio and sometimes in Indiana too but never won much usually just broke even. Since NC started the educational lottery I've never tried it myself but bought my oldest niece her first scratch off ticket when she turned 18. It was a loser of course. But I still have the ticket since it was her first.

Once in a blue moon. I do it more for fun than anything else. I like the anticipation of scratching off a ticket, but I'm generally not disappointed when I don't win anything because it's what I expected anyway. It's just something fun to do once in a while.

my mother put£1 in a pot each week when lottery drawn she never buy ticket she now got about£5000 in pound coins in her pot.
you gotta have dreams if I won I would help daughters residential home and make sure grandchild is happy, pay my sons mortgage off give them money to make life comfortable but not enough to give up work..i buy one lottery ticket for my sister(and that being generous)open animal sanctuary for cats and donkeys, donate to some charities that I have something to do with, then I get on that cruise ship and party around world

I don't really play. But, I'm always baffled as to why everyone thinks they should invest their winnings. You played so you could have the money, not gamble it away.

This was probably dreamed up by some financial analyst(sales person).

I play lottery to help school. Otherwise, it was fun to win something.

I don't like it I'm to much of a control person ..it would freak me out if I didn't win .

I only play when my friends and family give me the tickets.
