Do you like to live in small town?

My hometown's population is about 50 thousand. But I live south from it. Hard to see stars due to town light pollution face. But I come to see my family further south of my home just least 2 miles and realized to see north sky better. It looks much better than I saw the north stars sky in 2 miles distance differential.

I visited her another State in beautiful ozark foothill country and saw amazing many beautiful stars. Nice place there. And here on mountain to see awesome Milky Way colorful sky.

I found good friend who is house builder business and realitor to build beautiful cabins and houses in country. I want to live to move there 25 miles west of my hometown prefect place, quiet, stargaze and fun. I like to stay inside quiet, read, watch, and whatever occuiped during heavy and blizzards. Perfect place to travel south to Colorado and north in Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, Estes National Park, Snow Range and many!

Yes I would love to live in a small town so I can relax in a peace and quiet for the rest of my life. Right now I am living in meduim town. More ppl are moving here now. So soon I will move to a quiet town. Pffffffffffft
 
Used to live in small county town where I see bright star in clear sky in almost every night. Not much thing to do in town, except watch high school football on fall season. ah....

its over 50,000. the total of population is 53,559

I was born a city slicker so I will be always a city slicker. Cannot stand the small-town where everybody knows your business. I like my privacy. I don't want my neighbor to be my best buddy. I don't care about that woman sleeping with that man down the street or whatever.

I like big cities because you can get lost in it and you got stuff to keep yourself busy (Yes you can stay busy in small town-- such as keeping your house running or mending around the house but I don't like it. I don't like to scurry out pigs, coyotes, horses, clean up hay, pull out weeds and whatnot).

I need my freedom. I need stimuliations. City slicker forever.
 
I rather live in a city cuz I can do many stuff whatever i need to do but I'm like 15 mins away from downtown san jose but by bus probably 30 mins or so lol.. but at least I'm glad I live near buses and all if I live in a small town with no bus service and all I wud go crazy :roll: so I like it where i am and I'm happy :D

Well I raised in country, and I did tried live in biggest city, it was awesome at beginning, after I once get used it, and i really hate it, too manny ppl, no privacy, noise, too much going on.


Right now I live in really small town, which is okay for me. its less than big city haha. Would like to live in country again in future.
 
I have lived in big cities and small cities. I personally would like to live a small town near a big city within 10 mins to 1 hr to drive. I can't live without malls, universities, activities but I can't stand living in a crowdy city which I am in now.

But....

I would love to live up on the mountain because it'd be so quiet and peaceful...No one would bother to drive up through snow!!!! And I plan to accomplish my dream.

who said about having to scurry out pigs, coyotoes, horses, clean up hay, etc?? i dont have a farm but still i live in country here.. it used to be a farm here long time ago.. but now?? all that is left is the horses but they dont belong to my mom.. but belong to neighbor down the road who rent the land from us.. also my nephew owned donkeys too and put on other side of land too.. its fun to walk up to hill and pet the horses and donkey! :)

i live too far from neighbors .. so i dont have any plms .. they stay out of our business too? so i am happy here.. so peaceful! :)
 
I live in a small town with the big city maybe 25 minutes away.

On main street we have the Church, the firehall and the post office lol
 
Even though I would love to live in a small town,
but then when I just saw Mariah Carey's home at the Tribeca
in NYC then I would want her home (only as a second home
right in the heart of city, wow !) I would not mind live in
Tribeca as a second home. And I would also want
a third home at the Hamptons area.

I'd prefer to live in a suburban area. I don't wish to live in a small city where lack of stores around..forget it.
