Do you let your pet sleep in your bed?

wow.. 2 great danes broke your bed? poor you.... heheh.. great dane are HUGE .. thats for sure! i remmy having to share my bed with Maxi- great dane. She was a HUGE dog. lol... it was so funny... its like sleeping with a kid.. but its not? only a dog? heheh!

LOl not only just the bed, the great danes I had they are also "couch potatos" too lol they love to take over the family sofa! lol

My dog Duner Jr-a doberman/pitbull mix, he used to be a couch potato and he always watched tv. It was so funny. heheh..

oh that is nothing with fleas.. there are FRONTLINES? ever hear of that ?? it prevent fleas and eggs. also ticks. My dog mac was allergic to flea and have to give him bath and put frontline on him every month. spray on floor and under bed make sure no fleas are around. It works.

all of the dogs i had growing up never barked at me. I always show them who is the boss? ME! not them! u have to look at them in eyes and tell them you ARE THE BOSS. not them. They will know. thats easy thing to do.. thats one of the training i had with all dogs that i had. It is not hard.

im agreed with him about issues with dogs in the bed due by our experience with one dog that is very stubborn, would growl at us, and everything. even i have a very strict/firm voice that i always use with any animals that who dont listen to me. but, hes very stubborn and unhappy, we realized that it's not good for him to being with us, we decided to give him up to other family for his good. and, sometime frontlines dont always work for all of animals. just remember that same like human medicines... everything wont be work for all animals or everybody or whatever like that. seq is right about fleas, hair dander, etc like that.

i forbidden dogs to sleeping with me beccause im pregnant and who don't listen to me. i do sleep with my kittens since they wait for me to fall asleep first then they will come up on me and sleeping with me.

Mac, my dog didnt like it when I slept with my ex boyfriend. he always get in the way between us and growled.. He was jealous. I had to scold on him and tell him who is the boss. eventually he learned to like my ex bf which was good news. it is just jealously.. thats all.. You let the dog be the boss which is big NO NO. you should tell dog to get off bed and let him learn lesson and the dog will learn not to do it again. like i did with my dog Mac.

That is why i always change bed sheets every week... every day i always shake off the sheets and blankets. :P

I slept with dogs and cats while i was pregnant. TJ is fine.. no problems..

only bad thing is do not change cat litter box while you are pregnant as it is toxic to the fetus. better to have someone change it for you.

I use frontline plus for long time no problem with that on my dog. It is 99% pretty good and my dog never bring flea in the house or ticks. It you use frontline you hve to follow the day you put it on and how you do it. Vet medicate comes a long way but I know vet are also expenstive.

Remember, people and animals are not all the same. Not every medicine will work on every animal or humans, so that means frontline can't always work on them. I had a dog with a tough time getting rid of the fleas. I grew up with dogs and I know what it is like to try get rid of fleas, it is NOT a easy job and not every medicine will work. Some do and some don't.

It may work on your dog, well congrats for you.

Frontline was finally invented not very long ago? growing up with dogs i never heard of frontline till I got Mac which was 1995 or so. I cant remember so not sure when did frontline first came out? i know they werent around when i was young.

Frontline DO work cuz Mac didnt have any fleas at all? I never see him scratch himself.

I also vacumed carpet every day make sure no eggs and spray around my apartment. I even have the bug terminator come in every month to spray around real good. lot of works, i know but it WORKS.

That part tells me that you don't get what me and sweetheart have been telling you. It works on YOUR dog, that's fine. It doesn't always work on every dog. Get it now?

Just that I can't seem to figure out how in the world one of my good friend had mastiffs and cane corso sleeping with him and his wife! I think he is nutso,

Only bright side is that I know no one can mess with him if they ever try to rob their house.

For me, it depends on how big my dog was. If the dog was huge or big, then I wouldn't. If it was small and harmless, fine.

I would still make sure that I don't spoil it too much though. I can't have a life if I let my dog control my life.

This reminds me of an episode of It's Me or the Dog that I saw last year. This woman had 2 little dogs that she spoiled too much that it got to a point where she chose her 2 dogs to sleep in her bed over her husband. At first, her husband was sleeping with her fine. When she got the dogs, she spoiled them so much that she let them bark if they wanted something. Well, they ended up barking at anyone who slept in her bed. This made her husband end up sleeping on the floor. When the dog trainer visited, she asked... "Why do you let your dogs kick your husband out of bed?" Her response? "Because I love them too much to say 'no' to them! *sobbing*"

Oh, boy! What a pity eh ? I know it ain't funny, but what can I say ?

Well, I would have to say no... sorry and I know that it is just a " child " to everyone - but, I prefer an " independent " when it comes to my space/room to sleep in. My dog can sleep on the floor in my bedroom which is fine with me. No problem.

hahaha i had large dogs ok.. and it was hard to sleep with them on my twin bed so i bought a full size bed... and its much better.. more room for the dogs n cats to sleep with me. heheh.. :P
