Do you feel that hearing teachers restrict Deaf children in learning?

new here...but jumping in anyhow...:D This guy you're talking about it an ass. I took my ASL at Douglas College (BC) and all my instructors were Deaf. Thank GOD!!! I learned so much more by being immersed in the language than I would have had I been able to rely on my hearing!!! I HAD to learn because there was no "back-up"!!!
