Do you believe in God?

I don't want to start an argument here. The God you worship, whom you worship? you should worship the God of your own people you named. for instance, i worship the God of Stokely Carmichael, Martin Luther King, Jr., Shirley Chisholm, Thurgood Marshall, Eldridge Cleaver, James Meredith, Bill Cosby, Medgar Evers, Elijah Muhammad, Louis Farrakhan, Rosa Parks, Dick Gregory, Colin Powell, Jesse Jackson, Malcolm X, Barbara Jordan, Condoleeza Rice, Fredick douglass, others i named. They are a GOds. The God speak by holy prophets and include me since the world began. they look like me in same figure. these names are prophets. they are my memoies in between eyes of mind I am.
 
Yes, I believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They all are one.

I'm a Christian and I'm a regular at the Church of Christ Deaf Mission. We, the Church of Christ, are very passionate about studying the Bible.

I was a Roman Catholic, then an Episcopal, then an Independent Baptist, then a Southern Baptist....then agnostic ready to become an atheist and I even considered about practicing voodooism. I never got to that point because I turned my back around and found my heart at the Church of Christ and am very happy to know the truth about the Bible that many Christians failed to acknowledge.


Sorry the Bible is not a scam at all. There are Christian evidences that come out and they are in accords to the Bible.

yeah too many religious in different church, what is the points?? I undy you are different kind of religious but why they do that? it is only one God in the universe. why we should have many religious. I think it is :crazy: over religious to believe. that my opinon

:werd: Who should we believe? For all we know, all of them could be fake! According to Dictionary.com, other religions are cults. If they were to look at it from our point of view, then we are cults. That's why I think this religion thing is bullshit.
 
I was raised in a Christain family. I believe in God but I dont go to Church anymore. My views about God have changed over the years. If there is a God why dont he stop all the cruel things happening in the world today? Look at the Jews! They suffered so much under the Nazis and where was God then? 6 million were murdered by the Nazis. Then we get 9/11. Why didnt God stop that. Sometimes I think the God we have is a cruel God!. No wonder that my beliefs have changed so much. I realise a lot of people wont agree with me but if you read the Bible there are stories of murder , rape , sex etc. So I guess things haven't changed since the Bible was written!. But I do believe God made the world for us. Just look around you ......where do all the plants , animals , etc come from?
Guess I'm an agnostic now!
 
I am not crazy abt going to church myself but I do believe in GOD bec God is only one perfect Father!!!
 
I don't believe in God... I believe the creators of these religious fables were suffering from a mental illness.

I notice some people were brought up religiously only to become non-believers (or semi non-believers or whatever). This is because God is a "Cruel God" like daveyboy said. "Why is he not preventing events such as the Nazi regime or 9/11?"

As in the Bible it says that the world will see the coming of the end of the world where there will be natural disasters, famines, war and so on.

I have not heard of God communicating through sign language, but the way he is communicating with the world is through the bible. He has foretold the world what will happen.

If the bible is from God and the bible is mentioning about the Nazis (war), Africa (Famines) and Morocco (natural disasters).... and many more events, the bible must be correct?

If the bible is correct, does the bible not also say the God created the World?

Hey, I'll make up a small biblic verse here.

"When you spread out a stack of playing cards, you will pick out the Queen of Hearts."

What does that translate to? I didn't say how many tries you have limited to. I didn't even say that when or how it would happen.

Of course, all those natural distasters are all based on odds. Same as picking out Queen of hearts out of the rest of the playing cards.

Many of the bible verses are not really facts. Few are. With enough faith from the believers, they are labeled facts.
 
I agree with you, but with odds of 1 to several million, some of the events told in the bible have happened. Not much faith is required for something with those odds.

God would make a good sports better. :)

1 to 52 as in getting a queen of hearts is easy. It happens every now and then.

But of course, its up to the individual to make the choice whether God is real or not, and whether thay have the little faith needed to believe that.

I believe that God and Jesus exist. We owe Jesus a debt of gratittude because he died on the cross for our sins. God makes us walk amongst the confusion, depression, and frustration because He tests us to see if we will relinquish or lose our faith in Him. Also, He wants us to be omniscient so that we can help others with their problems. For instance, the journey is so full of obstacles, and you must overcome them to become a better person. Trust me on this one, your thoughs will fly below the surface of the ground where the truth awaits you; your waiting vessel (source of memory) will get bigger once you read the bible.

Interesting reading your posts what you believe in God...For me I really dont believe God even though I am catholic and grew up confusion in God, church and many religions. So I believe one thing is Evolution which how people, places and things have been evolving so many years including animals too. I agreed with Lunz and Apocalypse. I also never believe those bible so it is fiction which had been written by men who made it up the stories in the bible just brainwash you. Also I dont believe God is man so do you know why god is not man so tell me who has been destroying the world like wars,economy, guns, etc. so who created this stuffs? men! did that and they fucked up in this world which still! so look at us woman did we ever try to destroy the world? no! men is destroying women and world which they think they have power and control its ( hey men, sorry no offense just my perpective which make sense) I also just believe Higher Power whatever it is out there that goes thru our life daily......... Hey God is Woman!!!!:fu:
 
Yes, I do believe in god, but I am not practicing. I do pray, says amen, and all that. I do love him, and he loves me. but I always wondered this many times, it is real god? well, i never really bothered this questions.

I am getting sick of people who says, world will be end soon. which I would say, shut up... and I dont believe that. I dont think that world would be ended. I think it is just scared people.
 
I do believe in God very much. Just keep up with faithness and confidence in God included Jesus and Holy Spirits. Who need fancy churches for attending??? Plus who need wear nice dress for show up in the church. God know how much my faith.
 
I do believe in God myself!!! BUT i don't really like going to church or anything.. It is very important that I know that I believe in GOD and know that he is the FATHER of everyone!!! smile :)
