Nah... 5 years will be good enough! :thumb:
*rubs chin* ok fair enough! 5 and ahalf years it is, then! *bam!* :smash:

Okay, I think that Martha should be treated like the rest of Americans. I don't think she needs priority because she is rich or has a million dollar company.

It doesn't matter anymore...look at Bobby (Whitney Houston's husband)...he gets in and out of jail all the time PLUS several other celebrity.

It's crazy, so I don't really care. My mom thinks it's wrong, but I think she needs to be sentenced like the rest of Americans.

Frankly, I voted "I don't know" because I don't think it is fair to pass judgment on someone, when you are not involved with the court proceedings. You have to give your trust to the judge to know what is best for the guilty party. It is not only 5 months in a prison, but also 5 months in house arrest at her home after the prison. So it's really 10 months sentence. I think it's stupid to listen to news and rumours and make a decision on whether if the sentencing is fair or unfair. I don't think we are qualified to do that here. But of course, this is a free country, we have the right to say whatever our opinions are. So that's my opinion here.

Which is what I am saying. It happens to anyone, so Martha should be no exception as the national citizens.

What do YOU think she deserved? She ripped us off out of millions and millions of dollars.

Martha is just simply-------> generally and originally she did prosped to judge this she is willing to teach children at lowest income as part of community service in order to avoid from going to federal prison...but judge turn down her request...she was outraged and ran around to find a way to avoid prison at every cost...Martha is just like pastor Jimmy Bakker who cheated and cheated on alot of monies and end up being in prison look at him...I read book on Jimmy Bakker he confessed this he was fraud pastor who just preach for monies and blah on television to help others but in behind he cheat and use monies..even his ex wife faye...was overmade up on her...it is why Martha situation reminded me alot of Jimmy Bakker....right now Jimmy is out of prison and learned alot of mistake..he went on become one of most popular lecturer on stop cheating monies at same time spreading God's Love..

She aught to spend at least 10 yrs buried down to her neck in one of the dog parks.

Richard Roehm

I think its not fair.. I voted No cuz she should serve more than 5 months because she "stole" the people's money that they invested the stocks.. anyway.. its all bullshiet that what she have done.. she should serve the same puishments in the book not lesser time in prison/jail..

BUT.. what about WE people the non celebrities.. serve more time than celebrities..

(rme)... I think its sucks anyways..

The government rips us millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars. And what do we do? It's part of the real life and real world, either you stay on the game or get weeded out.

I guess I'll go ahead and rip you off out of millions and millions of dollars and laugh since I know you won't care... ;)

She's a celebrity... that's why she got a lesser sentence! :fu2: She deserves more! She deserves to be in prison long enough to make people forget who she is so when she gets out and gets her own show back, people will go, "Huh? Who the hell is she?"

Yeah, I notice alot of celebrities get away with it. Not fair for the civilian who broke the law. Look at the congressmen and goverment bounced their check few years ago. Our tax payers cover their insufficient in their bank account.

We broke the law, we paid the price to be in the prision. We worked very hard to pay the fine thousand dollars.

Wealth people get away with it !! They can afford to pay expensive as a good attorney to fight their cases. :fu2:

she gets away with it cuz she got lots of moola! heh!
I agree its not fair that she got mild punishment....
Look at OJ Simpson....grrrr! a murderer? Yikes..id never be near
that man! If i ever see him coming down my street, id run like hell outa town!

Martha Stewart asks judge to let her start serving her 5-month prison sentence as soon as possible. :sure:

What people don't understand is that SHE WAS NOT CHARGED with anything.
It is frightening to think what this country is comiing to, when people like you can throw someone into jail just for the heck of it.
:eek2:

I voted yes. She needs to be locked away for good. You never will know how dangerous Martha is when she uses the kitchen knives.

I don't know even know her in person, so screw her and she should have fun in jail for the crime or whatever she has done. Too bad famous people aren't too honest, LOL. So there she goes.
