Do not stay at Comfort Inn!

I recommened you contact ADA and felt violite your rights.. Tell ADA about your situation at comfort Inn where you stayed.. Giving them information of address and phone number etc etc. ADA would be very happy to investington for you.. Don't pay for 600 bux due damaged the door.. Don't let them ask you pay for it. Fuk'em.

Also otherwise, have you contacted the police about it ? If not.. so then should have. Anyway you can go ahead contact ADA right away.. tell them what happend. ok.
 
I don't understand one thing -- if the maids were supposed to be cleaning up the rooms -- how come they didn't use the master keys to open the doors? All hotels/motels have that for maids to do their cleaning jobs.
What gives?

What gives....is that I locked the top lock where you can only unlock from the inside. I locked that because I could not find a Do Not Disturb sign there to use while taking a nap, knowing that the maid could come in anytime.

Both locks were ripped off.

Ah OK -- gotchya. Well, I just hope that you report this to the ADA services and the Comfort Inn CEO in regards of the attitude and services you received staying at one of their Inns.
 
Just give them a real good...:slap: then they will regret it :D
 
I stayed at Comfort Inn in Indianapolis for deaf expo. No problem. It's very nice place include free wi-fi. Couldn't be happy. :)

ABout 10 years ago.. some hotels do tell you what time you will have to check out.. like you would have to leave before or at 11am. Maids would clean around 11am.

It depends what hotels you are staying at. They do tell you what time you would have to leave before or at. To prevent anything happen to anyone. Otherwise, when you want to check in.. make sure they aware that you are deaf and they need to alert the others that you are deaf.

I never had any problem when I went through some hotels.

Hah I wish I can be like that. I can sleep in daylight, vibrating sensations make me sleep, and I need a large idustrial fan plugged to a timer to wake me up.

Yeah it works best during the winter months.

I didn´t know much about your country.

I would ask you question:

Do you reserve the book at Comfort Inn or hotels through Travel Agency?
If yes, then it´s good. You can demand your rights to have your % off of hotel booking.
If no, then check with your lawyer about your rights.

You can take them to court to claim your rights due human rights (law).

Don´t pay the bill for those door because it´s maid, not you. The maid shouldn´t do it.
 
Meg, I am Real Sorry that you had to go through that. They had no Right to Kick you out just because you did not answer the Door that never happened to me Yet.. if it did believe me my dad would be so Furious! You have the Right to Lock the door and have ur own Privacy if the House Keeping cannot understand that then that's too bad. I have been to a lots of hotels when I am on the Roads and Only time they entered my Room was when they had a fire on 3rd floor someone burned something on the Stove and asked us all to get out of the hotel that was like 6 am in the morning I was Pissed off cuz i was in my Long TShirt with Panty on and had to stay outside in the Rain. and I did not see no Fire from the Outside I thought the whole thing was a Prank but it was just a little fire started on a store after burning a Hotdogs.. It was weird who would cook hotdogs at 6 am for Heaven Sake.. LOL.
 
Well youd be surprised what people do in motels/hotels, Cheri! Like you i have stayed in motels/hotels a lot cuz my hubby is a Union President and we go to meetings and rallys. A lot of things happened especially when people get so drunk! ONe time, a guy who was so drunk, he kept banging on our door, screamin "you bitch!" and when my husband opened the door, he started to punch my husband cuz he thought he was sleeping with his wife!! :laugh2: My husband grabbed his hand and said "WRONG ROOM"!..the drunk said "bullshit" so he checked his pockets and found his room key and took him to his own room...that was at 2:30 am! Its never quiet either, my husband can hear all kinds of weird noises...so it gets stressful and crazy. i dont like staying in hotels either...
 
I have no problem staying in hotels, I always stay in hotels whoever I travel with, etc, even resorts.
