Closed captioning seem to help with common slangs and what have you. I read the book "The Ode Less Travelled: Unlocking the Poet Within".
I'm an English teacher and it hurts my heart when I saw this. LOL!!!! Dude, you go and pick up a book! Tsk tsk tsk!
Feel free to PM your book report.

I was student at NTID/RIT.
My two best friends were Gally graduate. I read book/newspaper/letters/online for her/him. Should I take their two graduate degrees???
I seem to read the dictionary a lot also when I am attempting to educate the populace.
When I was punished as a child, my dad forced me to copy 20 words from dictionary with definitions! More words if punishment was more severe.
My reading skills and speed improved from closed captioning... not from books.
I still read comic books and manga.
oooo book report!!! Woo woo woo -- give me requirements.
The book that I report is "The Ode Less Travelled: Unlocking the Poet Within". YOU should read it as well and teach THAT book to deaf! BIG challenge.
A challenge! Yay!

Should you take spanish speaking person's degree from a college somewhere in South of U.S. just because they ask you to interpret?
They should.learn to read it on their own
Just checked out 7 books to read this week, along with 5 books for my painting and 4 magazines for painting as well. I will sit and read with the full sheet magnifier in hand. Large print is no longer large enough anymore.
Are you still driving?
That is the reason I only read ebooks. They are as big as I need.
