I know we have discussed it before. :o It still got me wondering why people decide to join and introduce themselve then they are not returning to AD. So What's the deal with introducing themselve to AD? :hmm:

I haven't been here very long, but I noticed this. I don't know why people do it. I introduced myself then gradually worked my way to posting:) I'm shy:lol:
 
I dunno actually....I joined up in 2006...but never intro'd or posted until late 2008 or 2009 (I'm not sure)....sort of like "meeting a new friend for the 1st time and not really knowing what to say"....or scared you're gonna stick ur foot in ur mouth (and at times I have!).

i am yawning right now with nothing to do. the olympics are not playing here yet so its cartoons for now.
 
Shucks...I'm sitting here in my jammies, it's a little after 11AM, just a lazy, do whatever ya want Sunday....best day of the week...heading for another cup of Java....

me too. this rain makes me sleepy. but it is another sign that spring will arrive eventually.
 
ahhhh...Spring!...It's not raining here today, the sun is shining! Another beautiful day (like yesterday)....it rained all last week tho'. Just caught a "flutter" go by my window pane, can't be a butterfly! Too early....dunno...but being here in Florida, probably was a "flying cockroach"...HAHA

I think they realize their experiences are not relevant.
 
I dunno! I come and go, kinda gypsy like that way. I enjoy seeing familiar names when I return. I don't spend alot of time on the computer, so I only check into a small amount of the overall content here.

Perhaps some join to read posts, do so, get their questioned answered by reading others threads and then leave without uttering a peep!
 
I notice that many of the intro posts come in clusters. I suspect a sign language instructor assigns joining AD as an assignment for deaf culture involvement. It's like a field trip to the zoo. After the students prove that they've made their token post it's adios.

The registeration system needs a whup in the ass, and tighten it up, and the rules must state 'You must post once after you introduce yourselves or face consquences'
