Let's say that you're a single guy. You decide to talk to 3 or 4 different women online. They may be from Vermont, Texas, Missouri, and California. Well, guess what…you now have a girlfriend. You decide to cut all communications with those women from different states. I would feel bad because they're nice people. However, there is no reason for me to talk online to different women from different states if I end up having a girlfriend.

Have you been in similar spot before?

Would all depend on your rapport with them. Ask yourself how you would feel about letting your girlfriend read your communications with them. If you wouldn't want her to read what you talk about - then time to cut the ties. If you would be ok with your girlfriend reading it then it sounds more like a friendly relationship. Wouldn't hurt to ask your girlfriend her opinion since you sound unsure.

It depends on the situation and the distance. To be sure, you're not REALLY seeing someone just over the computer so you can't count that as dating.

On the other hand, if someone was close enough that you could have a physical relationship with and you were planning on just that, you need to cut the tie and let her go.

Pen pals is one thing, but flirting with someone you want to date is something else, respect your partner.

Be honest with them... even if you make a decision. If you want to be friends with them and be in contact, honesty is the best way to go. :)

sometimes honesty backfires....then again dishonesty does too
,so decide quickly....

It all boils down to What do you want from these women? Don't wait for a response, ask them, not us. Your answer is there.
