Its the cross we bear; some situations are real iffy. I just carry on and choose my battles wisely.

My aids are the kind that suppose to adjust automatically one setting is for restaurants but always work right not ,one time I couldn't hear the person to my right but five tables away in another room with the door open I could hear just fine, it's very disorientating, I don't eat out, well a special occasion maybe but then turn my aids down or off :-( some times it's nice to be able to shutout all the confusion : )
