Hey, dude. I don't have an account on the DeviantART site. However, I did checked out your site and you have awesome photos especially the 'metallic reflections' one! It's awesome! I'm a fine artist & fine art photographer as well. My site is:

Currently, my website is getting a major overhaul. And hopefully I'll have the new site up by the end of next month.

I am just using a Canon Powershot A410 - really dodgy, I want to upgrade to a D-SLR, but it costs $$$ that I don't have.

Oh well :)

Ooh, I got stuff for sale on DeviantART, if people want to buy stuff from me, they can do that from DeviantART :)

Cool! First of all, sorry if I offended you with the Turkey recipe thread. I thought it was quite funny and thought maybe give few people a Thanksgiving laughter. One person got a chuckle out of it. Apparently, not everyone find it as funny as I thought. Oh well. :|

Thanks for the compliment on my website. I had four cameras including 4x5 view camera while I was in school. But sold 3 of them and kept the Minolta X-700 because it was my very first SLR I got when I was 16. Right now, I'm using FinePix 5100 for general and some small fine art photography work. The camera is "ok" for right now, I'm trying to save up of for a DSLR as well. I would absolutely love to either have a Nikon D200 or Canon 5D. If I had the money, I would buy the EOS-1Ds Mark II in a second!!!

Yeah, I agree they're really pricey. Hopefully one day we'll get one and show off our awesome pictures to the world!!! :dance2:

Yeah, I don't know much about cameras, but I do know that the equipment does not define the quality of photos, but the photographer - but a photographer is limited also by his/her equipment.

I did updated my old artworks but i deleted 'em six months ago because of some reasons.. I'll re-update 'em later cos i need Photoshop CS or something, so I can draw it with colors.. :) I also add only pictures in my favorite list from any artist as my own interest. ^^;

Dude, looking at the 1Ds gives me a fucking boner! Christ on a battleship, that is an awesome camera.

Hope you get a DSLR soon.

Just out of curiousity, what is the difference between a fine art photographer and your everyday photographer? I've heard this term come up before, but it doesn't make sense to me.
