And there's no media coverage of senate bill 1867 either. This is seriously messed up and the American citizens really need to start exercising their rights to have the laws and the Constitution upheld.

Right now, OWS is consistently being labeled terrorists by the Right, imagine if Republicans were in power and they decide to invoke Bill 1867 to deal with those protesting against the government. I shudder to think about it.

Not at all. This was in Bloomberg Markets, on the ABC site. It's not exactly "Breaking News" the fight had been going on for a long time.

and how is it "a long time" if Senate Bill 1867 was introduced on November 15th? :dunno2:

I think a group like OWS is pretty safe. :lol:

It's pretty funny, people complain about each side of congress "blocking" then when they work together, compromise and vote overwhelmingly for something people complain about that too. 93 votes, a large chunk of them lawyers, I think "the people" are safe.

I hate transcribed audio because it keep getting words all mixed up and the speech recognition leaves a lot to be desired hence the horrible results. :P I especially hate this on how to do videos.

Do you think all americans are safe under the senate bill 1867? You don't think it's a violation of the constitution? congress voted on this and it wasn't in the media until the vote was already done. I had searched for a week for any mention of 1867 in any major newspaper. Zilch. Nada. that raises a red flag.

I don't know...I just hope that bill won't get abused.

Yeah I think all Americans are safe under this bill except for the one's that engage in terrorist activities. I haven't seen anything I would unconstitutional in the bill. I am sure the SC will rule eventually if this ever becomes law.
