They should all just stand there and say "Hope and Change"

but it's their response that is disappointinng - they'd rather just let them die.
It wasn't a real person, so we don't know what the response would have been if it was a true story. Hypothetical scenarios and real life events don't elicit the same responses. Some things that look good in theory don't look so good in practice, and vice versa.

Blah. You're focusing on a minor technicality and ignoring the wider implication of a given thought/idea. You've been getting awfully good at that lately. The thing is, this "hypothetical person" exists all across the country, and he/she is dying every day.

What is the GOP response to these REAL people? Same as at the debate: "HAH HAH HAH."

nice.... putting words in his mouth when the question has already been intelligently answered not to their satisfaction.

Paul: That's what freedom is all about. Taking your own risks. This whole idea that you have to prepare to take care of everybody.

Blitzer: But congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?

So Blitzer.... I take it that you want to pay for his medical expense. I wonder what's next... mandatory life insurance? mandatory 401k?

What about the poor woman that was beaten in broad daylight years ago and people just watched . There has been stories on the news about people walking pass a guy being run over 2 times and no one helping him. People are becoming less willing to help a person today.

We the society have the wealth but not ALL of us have the wealth.

Hence the redistribution of wealth.

Dick Morris is a tool and has always been a republican crony. His words don't mean anything to me.

I never even heard of him. There's a guy ranting on the park bench I ought to give equal time.

He was supposedly this guy that got Bill Clinton re elected. A hard core democrat strategist.
