Death threats to Palin and her family

It is still confusing; only Jiro can clear this up.

You're right. It's silly to think that the list of names (of those who say it's wrong to condone violence against politicians, political party, political organization, and/or the damage and destruction of their properties) may be used against them someday for speaking up. I mean, seriously.
The one benefit of "the list" is that it shows non-partisan agreement. That is, it doesn't matter to which political party or philosophy we belong, we can agree that violence between political opponents is not the accepted American way of expressing political differences. It's not a left-wing viewpoint or a right-wing viewpoint; it's a civilized adult viewpoint.

I assume all 10 because of the "s" in Commandments
But "Tenth" refers to only the last commandment, so I'm not sure if he wanted to emphasize that one, or if he meant to include them all. :dunno:

Do you mean the one Tenth Commandment or all 10 of the Ten Commandments?

woops lol! Ten Commandments, not Tenth... but some of them.

5. Thou Shalt Honor Your Father and Your Mother
6. Thou Shalt Not Murder
7. Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery
8. Thou Shalt Not Steal
9. Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness Against Your Neighbor
10. Thou Shalt Not Covet Neighbor's Wife.

This is a good response, Reba. Now I am left with thinking those who choose not to respond are just being prideful. I'd rather think that than think they'd say, "No".

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they overlooked the "list" option. Of course, not everyone is reading this particular thread anyway.

At least the non-"ayes" haven't started their own list for people who disagree with the list statement.

well, he did mentioned "closely resembles" so I took it that he only follow some of it.
I guess he figures the other four were just "suggestions" instead of "commandments"?

lol it's because I am of other religion that does not share the same view but the point still remains that the Commandments I listed are the general moral value for pretty much everybody and it's found in pretty much all religions and even in primitive villages. It's sad and disappointing that such simple value is not so simple anymore :(
