DeafChat Discussion

Ah yes Cookie, I remember all those regulars as well.. many of whom are now members of alldeaf and some other forums. Without deafchat I would not have meet most people here. Deafchat also lead me to the world of forums for the deaf so I have to say it was the beginning of a whole new world for me.
I agree that the current format Digichat isnt what most of us 'early' chatters were introduced to. The format is very different. Digichat plunges you into a room full of people on entry unlike the old format where you could choose before you entered where you wanted to be and I think, from memory you could see who was in the rooms before you went there (correct me if I'm wrong).

The "Grannies room" was a bit of a decoy RR.. when the going got rough in some of the other rooms, some of us regulars would announce lets head to the Grannies room which only regulars knew what we were talking about so we wouldnt be followed by the jerks and the pests who often came in just to hassle us or intentionally cause havoc.

And... RR..... dont forget *flashes eyelashes*... *blindfolds Angel* pppstt... didnt we errrm arent we produce some fine kids at one stage in the 40s room??? :whistle:

Prevouis sn Chippy or C}{ippy. I guess so you're not remembered me long time ago when I was used to be chatroom mIRC #DeafZone, #Deaf and also DeafChatters.. I was posted my picture on DC. Few of them, I'm sure know you but barely hard remmy last time I was used hang around w/old buddies in my past. I understand that you're not remember w/me because I was dispearing DC and no longer hang them last time 1999 or 2000's Barely remmy.. LOL what the heck year.. (chuckles)

KID is out spoke person. :lol: We had blast time each other in 40's room until midnight with Donn, Sweetmind, SouthFella, Rotty, RedLinc, Sophro (spell?) from Ga, Cece, SouthBella, Nutty, Tousi, Amy, Nutty, Brian, AKDave, MafiaLady, Lone Ranger, PurpleZone, Sassy, Meg, Tabasoo, HotLip, etc... I forgot the lady's name who is hearing that we had met her in Boston with Chinese man. Wendy, do you remember their names?? Jeeze, I forgot their names.

We had very OLD time together in 1998. I miss them.

Sabrina.... You, Odie aka americanchopper and sweetmind met hearing lady.. Maybe her name is hiker ? Something like that... Scorpion that's the smell of name.... He got married...... I'm not sure when he got married but JEros told me that..s o I told to jEros to ttell him I said congratulations... Grins... Anyway I still can't believe its been so so long time... I will see you next weekend... I am in boston right now for sean's follow up appointment.... Soo I can't wait till we go back home in maine I need my real bed.. The hotel bed was so terrible ha... To start over and to get know each together again...

That what I've lost my old friends long years ago because my oldest oldest computer got extremelly virus and has made choice "format". One thing, I forgot to take my buddies' email and sn and much more.. unfortanlly everything wipe gone... In my thought, Friend is gone for good. Made me sad. I have to change my desinty(sp) future and to have new friends again..

I spoke with PurpleZone last Christmas time. Sassy is doing good and still live in California. Hotlip and I still keep in touch. she is still doing interpreter for the Deaf people. Her Deaf son won championship swimmer. :)

I do not know Zorro, Wildrose and Long Ranger.

*faints* Long time I know him and funny chatt'n afterall when Garfy encourged Odie and other become involved friend together as well.. Mostly I know ODIE.. er um.. he was used to lived in *snap finger* *snap finger* damn I forgot where.. Garfy did introduce Odie and I met each together at ONCE.. visit his place.. I can't remmy where.. Damn me.. few days later, We went to Timberfest, WISC er um... about 1999's I think.. I cannot remmy what year.

Ce-Ce no.. not her.. er um... her real name Cathie but forgot her sn prevouis her hubby ALEX. Do you recoglize ? Alex used live in CA and moved to AZ along w/Cathie.. and married.. a year then divorce..

Me too! 1997 to 2001 rocked in DC! Sabby, you were so funny in these chatroom :giggle: Wonder what happened to FlannelGuy - he was so obnoxious but funny. I still talk to a few from there - Sabby, SouthFella and Tabasco. Used to talk to CeCe and Beachgirl (from CA) a lot but havent heard from them in recent years.
 
flannelboy still going into dc nowaday i believe. Beachgirl is married to bam and recently I believe she is having baby or already had baby. I talk to Tabasco once in while...Havent heard from Kid either...

Sabrina... I havent seen Kid in a while. We used to chat a bit up until our mutual special friend from US passed away late last year, she was an early dc chatter too though very quiet in the rooms... LisaNY her name was - a very special young person who was very ill with neurofibramatosis (a very crippling condition in her case).
Yes, he is married with a family to care for and is busy as ever. Still as cheeky as ever too I might add and at times worst than ever! ;)

I remember lots of you from there DKF, Ranger, Hotlips, RedLinc, Sassy, Rotty, Southfella, Tabasco, PurpleZone, Dixie, flannelboy, RHL, Oz Kitten and many more!
 
i used to have a friend, actually a boyfriend but never met in real life, so i dont know what you would call that relationship. Anyway he was probably one of the best guy i ever met. He was called madjacky or something like that in DC. I wonder if you8 guys remember him or whatever? He real name is Jesse, I wont put his last name in here due to privaty. Anyway, i met him through DC and other friends as well. I wonder where he is now. hehe.

Darkangel... no I'm afriad I dont recall Madjacky in my DC days... must have missed that one!. Some people come and go in there don't they?

Oh one I would never forget which I miss very much I know others does too. DO yall remember guy came in as Tyrus which we use to call him Toyrus or Fagnut (not as an insult but teasing get the picture)? I know Kiwideaf, sherry aka hotsherry and I used to tease him lot of times. Thanks to Tyrus who start teasing about me and other being a couple which we are NOT. Hey kiwideaf, sherry and others who know about this...SHUT UP lol......
