I have few buddies joined our DRL (Deaf Racing League) it's racing online via PC (Nascar Sim Racing which is coming out Feb 15th) We are looking for deaf serious racing fans to join with us for fun. I had even created my own site for DRL. Hopefully there are some deaf serious racing online fans out there. We wanted to do the pro level instead of easy. Some of my friends couldnt do the pro level. But I will have 2 different groups in the league such as Nextel cup for the deaf and Busch series for the deaf. Nextel cup is the pro level (which will have all assists off but the clutch) For the Busch series for the deaf will have assists on for those that can't do the pro level. We are hoping to get more deaf to join the fun yearly. My friend are looking for prizes to give to the winners of the league. If you know anyone that loves racing online please have them know about us. Thanks
 
LOL. I wish we can race now but we need more members first. There will be alot of pratices for new comers before we can start the league. Hopefully soon!!!!!!! :bj:
 
Anyway, For the members would need to have faster computer and faster speed (256k or faster for a smooth online play).

Nascar Sim Racing only works on Nivda GF 2 or up, or ATI Radeon 7500 or up. But this is not the recommend mention. The recommended for good game play & grahpics would be Nivda GF 5700 or up, or ATI Radeon 9600 and up. Any other video card brands will not work.

And also need 256 mb of ram or higher.

oh i thought a real racing league.. oh well i'm somewhat interesting in joing a real race league.. Anyway i'm wondering have you tried Nascar simulatior at Mall of America? its awsome and hard to drive!
 
No I havn't. Where is that?

Nascar Sim Racing by EA sports for PC is hard as well. Try the demo out. :)

Real racing will cost us money but NSR. LOL which is why we prefer this and keep the league going. :scatter:

its at mall of america on 3rd floor... mall of america is located in bloomington, MN one of the famous mall in USA.
 
We still need some more DRL members. Feb 14th is the day the game arrive in any gaming store. (Nascar Sim Racing). Looking forward racing in the league via online! :rl:

that's kool...at first I thought it was real car racing team. LOL, still that's at least something else to do than chatting in a bar or deaf social event. Too bad I'm way over here, and I don't have that software.

Man, This is getting bored without bunches of members. Still got only 5... need some more.
 
On April 2nd we are starting the first DRL's debut racing league. Got 5 members so far. Looking forward some more any time later in season. Can be part time racer and get ready for 2nd season as full time. Hopefully we gonna have some blasts.

It's still not too late to join.
 
Whoa I totally forgot about this old thread. I am gonna to update the results on this league we had been running long ago. We went for 2 seasons online using NASCAR thunder 2004 (PC) game. Bubba won the 1st season with only about 5 members. In 2nd season Jorgito won it with about 8 members. We were running in 3rd season then things got in a mess and forced the league to shut down. We had great first 2 seasons. I sure missed this. Now I own a PS3 and will buy the game NASCAR the game 2011 which will come out on March the 29th. Hopefully we can come back and get in the league and have some fun again. Of course we have learned through our past mistakes if we start another league.
