Deaf people bashing ASL?

Negative. I'm in Denver...which in the state of Colorado may start a small geographical feud...but on the internet...we're practically neighbors!

I grew up in Iowa and I moved to Colorado in college. I was in Boulder county for awhile, but I'm pretty in love with my current town.

So far I never met anyone looked down on BSL in Deaf Community here.

Everyone got different levels of English. Those got poor English there are loads of reasons why but never because of BSL. It usually comes from lack of education.

It's true. Boulder is Boulder. The rest of the state is Colorado. :) Gotta keep it real.

However - If you have been to some deaf socials, events, etc -- you might have met me. I'm practically everywhere.

Actually, I'm hearing. I mean, I have hearing loss, but I adjust, so I only think of it when my students are like, MISSSSSSS why aren't you listening to me!? or if someone tries to whisper in my left ear. :D

I refuse to be Boulderized. :cool2:

(except for seeing the Wizard of Oz this weekend)
