This doesn't make sense at all - a live courier wouldn't be less 'interceptable' because of deafness, and at the time, there wasn't any way to transmit signing long-range. Perhaps it's confused with the Navajo code talkers who were used in WWII? They weren't civilians, though.

Same here I never hear of. Only I know there is fact about Navajo code. I been watch movie call windtalker. I am not remember that name movie. I hope it right one.
 
Are these facts verified? I tried Googling a couple, and could not definitively verify them.

Yeah, Eyeth, I'm sorry to say I've seen this list before and subsequently saw a number of items on it debunked. I think some of them have a kernel of truth but became exaggerated, like Bush and Jordan jogged together once but not regularly. That kind of thing.
