Deaf gay parents: signs for mom/dad

my girlfriend and i are looking to have kids sometime... and she will be "mother" and i will be the open hand like "mom" or "dad" but at the ear... my name sign is a at my ear... so we figured this would be easiest. :) hope this helps.
