Deaf Facts!

Not I, not yet anyhow, but I have done a bit of research into deafness and hearing impairments (as well as a bit into the culture of it) through books for my research papers and now doing speeches on it for my communications class (lecture, and soon to be doing a discussion speech). One idea i'm going to do for the discussion speech is lead the class in this exercise of having them plug their ears up with ear plugs that i provide them with for a few minutes, and then I'll have them remove it and have them discuss how it felt and what it was like.

Heather Whitestone was Miss America in 1995 or 1996 i think. It wasn't 1990 because I was only in the second grade then and I would not have remembered.
