Places to go...

Ok, I'm hearing, but I want to learn ASL and meet deaf people so that I can get more comfortable with signing and understanding signs.

I've taken ASL classes at Gallaudet, but the professor said I need to get out and socialize with the deaf in order to improve.

Are hearing people welcomed to just show up to deaf events? I'm a bit shy when it comes that.

Any suggestions???

Silent Socials and ASL students
