Let's start off with Boo Boo.

This cat loves attention and will follow you around.

This 5-year-old male is deaf, so he needs to be indoors only.

He does, however, like short walks on a leash either early in the morning or early evening.

He prefers to be the only cat in a home but may do well with another.

Boo Boo is house-trained and he can be found at the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society.

How adorable!! I noticed most deaf felines are usually white ((rubs chin)) I want to own a deaf pet someday :) thanks for sharing!

a cat with a leash???? my cat would have scratch me to death if I try to put her on a leash.

I guess since he is deaf, he feel more secure that way.

I would love it since MIL said today we could get a cat. Her allergies would have prevented it, but she will relent for the kids.

It's just too far away.

When I first saw this i was like what? A dead cat in need of a home?

When I was very young, I remember seeing an old woman with a cat on leash. The cat just sit there. I guess the woman is so old so she felt she need to put the cat on leash in case the cat tried to run.

You could always contact the shelter and ask if they would fly the cat over to Florida and you'll pay the cost?

One time I was at customer's house and she own a deaf cat. She showed me how to get deaf cat's attention by flashing the room light. It was really cool. After finished working in her house, I asked her can I bring this cat home? She said NO WAY, I KEEP HER. I laughed.

Yes, I want to own a deaf white cat (most white cats tend to be deaf), or deaf dog someday.

I once had a deaf white cat, and it was pretty neat. When we first brought her home (she was a stray/abandoned), my sister and I thought it was odd that Little didn't react at all when the other cat Mouse hissed and yowled at Little... but after a checkup at the vet, we then discovered she was deaf. I thought it was the greatest thing ever!

Aww cute, if I was living in USA, I would adopt this cat. :)

Does the cat know KSL? (kitty sign language) jk.

:laugh2: That was good!!

Seriously, I wish we could get it, but I can't afford the plane ticket or any of the arrangements. We will just see what the local Humane Society has here. Daughter is a member of the US Humane Society and the local chapter as well.

My niece has a deaf cat. He was badly injured last year after been hit by a car. Guess he did not hear it. But, he made a good recovery after an operation and is pottering about again!:aw:

Also had a blind kitten recently but we were lucky enough to find him a good home were he will be well cared for:)

this agency will fly a pet for free , but they have a really limited budget so they wont take all cases but this one is press worthy so they would likly take it
