Question 1: what is your main means of communcating? does your significant other know sign? or do you lip read, or use a piece of paper?
I don't mind if i dating with hearing guys because i can speech without sign language. It is a great way to sharing with deaf and hearing culture that doesn't mean that deaf is impact us....
Question 2: when your around your significant other's friends, do his/her friends treat you differntly?
Not really, only problem with noise and echo in the background when first time meet them. It is hard to catch their chatting when in the group.
Question 3: is there really any differnce in dating a hearing person?
Question 4: do you think the movie "children of a lesser god" is a good example of a hearing a deaf person dating?
I haven't see this movie... Maybe i should rent a dvd...
Question 5: does your significant other tend not to listen to music, because you cannot enjoy it with them? (this question comes from the movie children of a lesser god)
That is a little bit stupid but good question..... I can listen to music if i wear my CI and hearing aid..... If i can't hear and i can feel from the speaker like "doof doof"....
