I kind of thought she was very old. I had clients like that . I asked one client wanted for lunch and she said her box of chocolate candy. The woman was 90 yo and I thought she had right to have anything she wanted for lunch. but her daughter in law said that was not a healthy meal . The poor lady got her 'healthy' lunch and dies of old age a few week later. When someone get to be 80 or 90 yo they should be able do what they want to . My client was a DR. and she how much longer she was going to live and that eating candy was not going to kill her.

I am sorry. I really liked the woman , I had a conflict in my hours and was given two clients at the same time , I told the daughter in law if I can't care for her mother in law anymore another health aide would take my place. The daughter in law told me her mother in law like me a lot and does not want someone else. So I stay with my client . I still have a gift she gave me . I tried to refuse is as we where not allowed to take gifts from our clients but the woman's feeling where getting hurt. I really loved some of my clients and this woman was very dear to me. I cried when she dies.
 
UGH! I hate when it gets dark earlier! :mad: I like it staying daylight longer! Stupid day light savings time.... :pissed:

Oh wow that's great that you stayed with her! It sounds like your being there made a big difference for her. It probably meant alot to her too, that she was so dear to you. :hug:
 
My kids are still whining this morning when they see outside in the dark. :roll: cant wait for this sunday so monday they can stop whine.

Then I'll be whining because I don't like the short days and early darkness. :giggle:
 
Though I don't like the darkness when I leave work, I'd rather have that than the morning darkness. I tend to wake up with the sun, and he's been sleeping in lately. :giggle:

Me too! My dog , Marty adore his sleep especially when he is sleeping on my pillow and my side of the bed. WE get one extra hour of sleep tonight .
