WASHINGTON -- A D.C. police officer is caught riding down a street with his legs dangling over the side of a cruiser.

An eyewitness photographed the officer as he rode on the hood of a police cruiser on I Street in Northeast at 5 p.m. Sunday. A second squad car was also following the police vehicle.

Jason Lamberton said he took the photos from the second-floor window of his house. After taking the photos, he entered them along with some comments on a friend's Web site through his computer. The site features a web log for deaf people.

Lamberton, who is deaf, is also a math whiz and calculated the speed of the cruisers at about 27 mph above the posted speed limit.

:) Yeah, Ridor did post that story and PICTURES on his blog if you want to see it. STUPID stunt... the cops got nothing to do in DC? I am surprised with their high crimes...
Don't they have something better to do-- like CATCHING THE BAD GUYS?!

They are putting themselves at risk and possibly costs the taxpayers if one of the cop gets injured or the city's police gets damaged. Who will pay for their health bills and the repairs for the cars??? US! That's why this is causing a stir-- because the city's cops are fucking around with our money. (Pardon my french-- this type of thing just pisses me off. Can they just do it while being off-duty with THEIR own car?!)

Wow... a deaf guy busted that cop! Looks like the cops got :Owned:

Jason had better be prepared for any kind of backlash from the police or their friends. While I respect the police and hope people wouldn't stoop to that level, I'm sure that someone may lose their job over this and blame Jason and go after him in some way.

I was the thinking same.. I would be fear for my safety.. Pray for his safety and nothing happen.. :/

You have to remember many of the young cops are still basically kids but their jobs sure are gonna make them grow up really fast. I don't think he was wasting our taxpayer's dollars on purpose. I think it is more of a fooling around on the job case. That was not very smart of him though.

( some states hire at 18 years old and some at 21 years old, for the most part you have to be 21 years old. )

I'd rather see deaf people catch cops with their pants down because the last thing in a cops mind is positive relations with the deaf communities. It's high time that deaf people keep a close watch on cops and record anything that doesnt look right use their sidekick cams or whatever.

We need to send the cops a message that if theyre going to screw us over because we cant talk to them, we have the means to screw them back and we'll do it.

Richard

Whoa - WOW! This cop is an idiot! I wish there's closed captioning on the video but good thing that the deaf guy was on television!
