Curiousity: ADers username and changes

I'm sure you know mine. As for newbies... Just a fyi -

My old sn is Mann_K05 because of my favorite character's name (Karissa Mann). But I didn't realize the old user was actually sound like a male. Some ADers thought I am a "he" so I was disappointed with that user's name and, asked Alex to change my user. I like it so much, I rather to keep this user forever, and do not want to change it. :)
 
Well this sn I used.. .2 things.. the Sharky name as a result of the NHL San Jose Sharks which arrived in the NHL for the 1991-92 season and I loved the original logo and then the #99.. which is the number of my childhood idol Wayne Gretzky who played for Edmonton and then Los Angeles.. also briefly played for St.Louis and retired after playing for the New York Rangers... I do have an autographed glossy pic of Wayne... so there ya have the explanation..

SG.. wouldnt ya freak out if someone thought ya were Sexy Gal or Sh*t Gal?? LOL kidding, SG!!!
 
I chose this user because of my character, obviously.

She was created by her creator on April 2004. I used her for my personal novel book through she's actually a supporting character, even she's a slight minor one. Other reason, she's only 80% oppposite of me. :D
 
I used this name first time in an online computer game 8-10 years ago. Since then I use it in select online places. It comes from Hermes Trismegistus. It is a little different than the Greek God Hermes you know in todays form. You can google and read more about it if you would like to.

My name is restless_heart because I am always restless and always doing something without taking a break, one thing to another, for heart, I love to draw any kind of hearts and collect hearts since I was 13 and still do. I add the lower dash to separate the two words as in restless_heart to make it look good...so that is why I picked my username.
 
I've had this name since I became a member in AD since 2003.
 
I guess after 2 years here on AD, I probably wont change my username. In fact, I never really think about it.
 
Avwdng29 is... my initials alba violet weber :P and then my boyfriends initials..danny nomeriano gonzales and 29 is our anniversary day :)
buuutt i think i wanna be like everyone else
and change my sn to Violet which is my name :D

This sounds like a repost??? Anyways, I picked Oceanblue7 bec I live on the west coast where I wish the oceans were blue like Hawaii with that in mind, it equals Oceanblue and seven is a perfect number biblically.
 
Like apparently almost every other deaf music lover, I play the bass. Bottesini was a great bass player of the 1800's.
 
I prefer to leave my name alone. If I keep changing it, then I'm no longer unique and no better than those who do similar things with their e-mails and AIMs.

I had a few friends who were always changing their email addresses and AIM screen names. One gal changed her AIM screen name 5 times before I even knew that she changed it. A stranger IMed me out of the blue after a year saying, "hey wazzup". I didn't recognize the name and asked who it was. She got upset and said, "what? you don't remember me?"

I've lost some friends this way. I think that by changing names over and over shows that a person is very indecisive. :roll:

Of course, that's just my opinion. :)

If a name is changed once for a good reason, then that's fine with me. :)
