Curious...Will it work with IP-Relay on any cellfone?

I have IP-Relay on BB 8700 and My friend have IP-Relay on sidekick 3.

I'm curious, Will it work with IP-Relay on any cell like IPhone?, Large Dare? Samsung Dash?

I plan to buy next year but I haven't decide what I want yet.

Any of you who have IP-Relay and what cell are you using?.

You know IP-Relay is important to have it on cellfone for in case of emergency.

I appreciate if you help me :ty:
 
yes if you add third party IM application on any mobile like AIM or MSN Live Messager then you can add MY IP Relay on buddy list. Any mobile like Windows mobile smartphones, PDAs, Blackberry Device, Symbian mobiles can be used to call thur MY IP Relay or HOVRSIM or i711relay or SIPRelay if you have AIM on your mobile.

some relay services provide their own designed relay service applications for Blackberry devices or Sidekick that make them more friendly to call anyone through relay service on that program.

I never try IP-Relay on AIM but my AIM/YIM is not unlimited month on my plan, that's TMobile service. Thanks DeafClimber for the info. I appreciate it.

I have data umlimited on BB 8700. AIM, ICQ,YAHOO and MSN but my IMs not umlimited, that's 300 text msg a month. Usually I use on computer for IMs.

i suggest you to try on BEEJIVE (Beejive | instant messaging, just about anywhere) it is used through data program, not text. BEEJIVE is very popular... i think you can get free trail for 30 days... then 20 bucks for your mobile lifetime.

Really. never heard of Beejive, I will check that out. You know what? I'm thinking of switch to Sprint company because I saw Sprint showed umlimited both data and IMs for BB curve. Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it. and Thanks for the info about IP-relay.

frankly we have talked a lot about beejive in alldeaf.com for some quiet time... try to use "search" to find alot of "beejive" posts n threads...
