Cued speech vs ASL

I was born and raised with Cued Speech. It has helped me alot into reading, writing and speaking as well as possible. Cued Speech is pretty useful for education actives while sign language on the other hand is useful for communications. I'm glad I went with Cued Speech before sign language because education is very important for me to succeed.

ASL.....ASL totally. Cued speech was never meant to be a communication system. It was meant to be used in the classroom for deaf kids to learn English phoneticly.

Actually Cued Speech is a visual communication method.

Not quite. It would be like writing your posts in a " hooked on phonics worked for me" way.
Dude. It IS a communication method. I grew up with it and went to cued speech camps. You can look up on the history of cued speech starting with doctor cornet.
