Cruise and Holmes

Oh, my! Katie looks very young. I wonder how old are Tom and Katie??
 
Katie Holmes used to play Joey in Dawson's Creek... yes she look young in TV but her age is 26.. 20 years younger than Tom Cruise... SIGH I cant believe!
 
Yes, they wiill get married on July 4th this year. They seem so happy and get a good relationship. That is their business not us, okay.

Katie Holmes is only a couple weeks older than I am. So she's 26...Tom's about 40-something, not sure.

Anyway - I do think he loves her. If it's a publicity thing, he risks a lot more than the positive feedback he'd get - there's also the shock factor and the negative feedback that may risk his credibility as a person - we already know he's a very talented actor. Katie's also a very skilled actress...she has done several movies as well as Dawson's Creek - that was her debut as an actress.

Anyway - leave 'em alone. I think they make a cute couple. If it works out, great, if not, then well...it IS Hollywood...she'll start dating Colin Farrell (whom I heard is dating Lindsay Lohan, who's only 18!) and he'll mend fences with Nicole Kidman? :dunno:

Oh July 4th...interesting, I guess they want to get married one day after Tom Cruise's birthday or something because Tom Cruise's birthday is on July 3rd...did you know that????
 
When I saw Tom and Katie on tv, they looked really happy. I don't care about their age differences, only that they are so much in love and are very happy. Who are we to judge them based on their age differences? I've been fan of Tom Cruise since he was in Risky Business movie and I only wish him to be very happy with his life. He has worked hard in movies and had unsuccessful relationship with women. I hope that Katie is "the one" for him to stay happily married to for good. My parents are 13 years apart and are still in their first marriage. They are very happily married and the same thing can also happen to Tom and Katie as long as they both keep working hard on their relationship and marriage.

Publicity stunt or not, the only one who will suffer repercussions will be Tom and/or Katie... :dunno:

Doesn't hurt anyone else - not to mention the fun people will have at guessing whether or not they'll last.
 
i guess the age differece is not as bad between me and jay mewes whom i've had a crush on since i was little.. and hes 11 yrs older then me .. you all know the indie kings jay and silent bob. I love jay :cuddle:
 
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Movie star Tom Cruise and his fiance, actress Katie Holmes, are expecting a baby together, a spokeswoman for the actor said on Wednesday.

News that Holmes, 27, is pregnant with Cruise's child was first reported by People magazine on its Web site.

"I can confirm that," spokeswoman Marlan Willard said when asked about the report, but added that she had no information about a due date or any other details.

A statement from Cruise's chief publicist, sister Lee Anne DeVette, added: "Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is every excited."

No wedding date for the couple has been set.

Cruise, 43, and Holmes, 27, began dating in mid-April, and he proposed to her in June at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, announcing their engagement the next day at a news conference.

A month earlier, Cruise had drawn snickers and raised eyebrows with a manic, couch-hopping appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey" show professing his love for the actress.

The twice-married Cruise, currently shooting the action movie "Mission: Impossible III," adopted two children, Connor, 10, and Isabella, 12, with former wife Nicole Kidm
