(sigh)
When did everybody start caring about Tom Cruise's personal life?
Nosey folks we got here!
I have to say that you're quite stubborn too as well. Tom Cruise didn't make anybody follow his beliefs, but he did give them a piece of his mind and rightfully so. I'm so sick of the TV newscasters, so many of them are liars and rude. Katie Couric was even rude to Denzel Washington before and started to raise her voice toward him last year on TV. Matt Lauer is also an idiot. He tried to provoke Tom Cruise and tried to act as if he knew something about ritalin which he obviously don't. I wish he had stuck to interviewing him on the movie, War of the Worlds instead of discussing personal details. That's pretty much none of anybody's business to begin with.
Ritalin is an over-prescribed drug. Tom Cruise is right, we didn't use to drug the kids as much as we did in the 80s and before as we do now. Anti-Depressants are also over-prescribed. People do not need drugs to be happy.
It's all in the mind. Did you know that women are capable of lactating if they believe hard enough that they are pregnant when they aren't? Yup, it's a fact. Some drugs are actually useful and good, but the majority are rendered useless in my eyes and it pollutes people's minds too much.
Tom Cruise isn't a doctor, neither is Brooke Shields. You aren't one either. So is it really necessary to complain about Tom expressing himself on the prescription drugs? Everybody's entitled to their opinions on prescription drugs, not just the doctors or women.
By the way, fathers can get postpartum depression too. Not just the mothers according to recent studies.
