any crochet fan out there? I'm currently working on 3 afghans right now one for mom, one for my nephew and one for myself
Sadly uncoordinated and incompetent. I can't do any of that although I admire it.
I used to crochet. I made full-size afghans, baby clothes (for my daughter), table place mats, vests, necktie, scarves, and slide rule case. I made lots of "granny squares." :P
In this climate there's not as much incentive for crocheted items, ha, ha.It's not too late to crochet modern stuff. You can try the book, "Not Your Mama's Crochet." The projects are so great.
I grew up crocheting.
Explain please.
Yes I crochet and knit a lot.
You can see some pictures of crochet, I made.

I used to knit a lot for jumpers, babies overall, etc. We have a lot of knitted jumpers... I do not need more knit anymore.... maybe again one day. My teenage boys are not keen knitted jumpers.
I still do with crochet...

I've started to learn how to crotchet beads and make pendants & thick necklaces out of them as well. It is hard and wheee.. flyaway beads galore!
Our vacuum cleaner resembles the 1970's corn popper toy.

WOW! That's beautiful work :jaw::jaw:
I've always wanted to learn even though my Hispanic family always thought it strange that a male would want to learn how to do "woman's work"
I did finally get my aunt to teach me to sew and even helped her sew up some bedsheets.
Wow.. the crochets are so beautiful. I wish I learned it from my grandmother when I was little. I guess I was not interested at the time. Oh, well...
I love the butterfly lace! You did good job. You made many laces like my grandma does.
