Court of public opinion looms large in George Zimmerman murder trial

What's all this going on now with the judge and George's attorne? If he wants to ttestify, his attorney should let him

I think GZ attorney is worried if took the stand GZ would lose the case. The attorney want to win so he can made a name for himself and be able to make more $$$ the next time. GZ lawyer has a lot to gain by winning this case.

 O'Mara and West are pretty well known. They were not hurting for publicity. There was no reason to put GZ on the stand. GZ's version of events were already presented.

Guilty or not guilty, the safety for Zimmerman is in jeopardy.

It means he may hide in undisclosed location or hire the bodyguard if not guilty or solitary confinement/protective custody if found guilty.

Yeah but winner this case will made them more well know . And you take what GZ said to be all true? He said TM held his hand over his mouth , but there was no blood on TM hand . I totally disagree with about the lawyers not wanting more publicity . Wining this case mean bigger lawyers fee .

It's publicity. But I don't think a win will help them much. This was a very easy case to win. On the other hand, if they lose it could hurt business because that will mean they lost a case that was very easy to win.

The jurors don't have to "take what GZ said to all be true"... The bar is "reasonable doubt" Two witnesses testified that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman. That is enough for reasonable doubt.

hide in undisclosed location? hire bodyguard? I believe he's already broke.

FYI, CNN just showed an exclusive interview with former Police Chief Bill Lee. He is finally giving his side of the story. It was on "The Situation Room" but most likely it will air throughout the day.

just saw the headline in CNN. "They just wanted an arrest."

looking more into it... sounds like he was bitter about being sacked for not doing his job. oh well.

GZ will have plenty of financial help if he is found not guilty. He will probably get a book deal too. In fact the book is probably already written.

Nope, totally incorrect. Of course we can't discuss the politics behind it but people here are free to research on their own. :)

O'Mara just now said that in his career he has never filed a sanction request with the court until this case. In this case he has had to file 6 sanction requests because the prosecution was dishonest in discovery.

If jury find GZ guilty so will you consider jury verdict as joke, bogus or emotional?
