Could we save oil shale in US?

That's surprise for NYC metro, I always thought it was higher.

no. NYC costs more. I don't live in NYC. NJ is one of 2 major shipping ports for receiving oil for entire east coast and it's only 20 min away from here.

I'm pointing NYC metro, not NYC because Northern NJ is part of NYC metro.

Of course, NYC cost more like DC. I found gas price is cheaper in NoVA and MD, but cost more in DC, especially closer to US Capitol.

right and I'm telling you it's not true. gas in NYC is always more expensive than NJ - usually by 1-2 dollars more.

city gas is always more expensive and that goes same for pretty much all cities because of stricter regulations and probably higher taxes. for example - you will not find any single gas station in middle of manhattan. it's always on the outer side for safety reason.

I got it now.

Of course, cities use local gas tax to fund the public transportation.

I noticed that Hess gas station that next to Gallaudet is cheaper than Exxon station that next to US Capitol.

I have no idea what cities tax to fund the public transportation. every city does it differently. I don't know what NYC taxes to fund public transportation - most likely from NY state fund and everything.

in NY/NYC - everything comes from everywhere and I'm talking billions of dollars.
