Controlling rear wheel drive vehicles?

5-Year/Unlimited-Mile Corrosion Limited Warranty

:laugh2: lame

Hyundai has a 10 year or 100k mile warranty.

My 2000 Honda Civic has 155k miles on original engine and transmission, still runs great.

Thats not my point, my point is how manufacturer stands behind their products. If they trust that their product were damn good and will last forever, they are likely to offer better warranty to attract buyers. But nope, they KNEW their product has lost reliability quality and trying to figure out to fix that problem.

Hyundai, KIA offers better warranty than them? Why?

Tell you this, my ex supervisor got his Subaru burned down, want know what cause it? It was 3 years old Honda Civic parked next to his car that start fired and exploded. And with past recalls that Honda was embarrassed to begin with. They realize that their products are not as reliable as it is used to be, so too high risk to offer longer and better warranty. This is a little telltale hint when you see company cut down warranty program.

Older Honda, I would agree that they are very reliable, remember new team of engineers, new team of production operation, new executive team all can change the quality of company products. Like I said in other thread, brand and model means nothing, it is WHO built them that makes difference.

warranty? it lasts so long that you don't even need a warranty

Acura NSX... my dream car...

Honda S2000. definitely a fun car but too tiny. both cars have excellent handling.

I recently smog a Honda S2000 last Tuesday, the engine in compartment looks roomy easy for mechanic to work on. I hop in a seat, feel comfy not bad.

Because you are tech. I believe you rebuild transmission then replaced 2nd transmission on your Astro. Correct?
Plus you live CA which less problem for you. Astro awful problem around here due rust.

Correct, I replaced fuel pump and fuel filter last spring. I surprised the OEM fuel pump died at about 195K miles on it cuz I changed fuel filters in every 2 years. I replaced broken a passenger exterior door handle. Now saggy headliner dang.
