Have you ever went to a Confirmation Service?

Today I went to my Younger Sister's Confirmation Service. It was Very Nice and I was also Proud of her too. I had Some Tears in My Eyes When They did Affirmation Of Baptism. My Sister also did a children sermon temptation Island with the Children. they also did a story time of the Native American and the RattleSnake. They Sang some Songs (Jesus Loves me) (Lord I lift your Name High) and (Step By Step)...

It means a ceremony of membership in a religlous Community. Anyone baptised and brought up as a Christian would at any age seek to lead a life based on Christian teaching.

You may be right about that, but I know other religions like the Jews and Mormons have their own kind of confirmation rituals.
 
Congratulations to your little sister for being confirmed. :) I was confirmed myself. What name did she choose?
 
Congratulations :) What church was that?

In our church, kids do not get confirmed until they are 16. But it is always a special ceremony for teenagers.

Hahahaha..so you noticed that I was having troubles with my signature? Gosh ..Im so computer challenged. I only know how to turn my computer on and off :Oops:

LOL! Yes I noticed and thought That Poor Girl cannot seem to get it Right.. :giggle: I am not a Genius either when it comes with Computer also... :thumb:

hahaha Cheri ..Im laughing at my shortcomings. But I am trying and I am loving this site and want to meet other folks through this. Even if it means I have to look like a fool when trying to figure out my signature or avatar :)

Wow! Congratulations on your little sister's confirmation!! I confirmed to Lutheran Church too, many years ago!! I am still a good standing member. Wow, that's wonderful! :grouphug:
 
When I went to this confirmation with ^Angel^, her twinnie, Cheri...it sure did brought back memories of my own confirmation when I was a young teenager...also, I sure am getting a kick out of this> the name of the church I had gone to (in another state) IS the exact same name as the church we went to for their younger sister's confirmation!! It was nice to see their sweet younger sister getting confirmed and that it was a beautiful day also.... :)
