Complaining Customers (a rant discussion)

I understand how you feel about cell phones but if they are on a landline phone how do you know they are not talking to the supervisor or to the store's phone (like customers calling in for help and advice on products in the store?)

My hearing daughter was with me, she can hear the Shop Owner's lovey-dovey talk on the phone.

Better still, the owner should asked the caller to excuse as there is customer waiting to be served, and telling me "Can I help you?" or "Won't be second" ? etc.

I did post about my experince somewhere around here, I can't find it. I posted my story sometimes last spring when I was working. Here come, Jan 3, 2007- things will be all over again..... Hope there will be no more bible thumper coming to my work and preach to me and my boss... Tsk, Tsk....

One time, I had a customer who was talking really fast on the phone with a high pitched voice. I asked her to repeat slowly. She then replied, "What are you... deaf!?"

"Yes, ma'am. I am." I said.

She gulped and said, "Sorry." Then she hung up. ;)
