Our neighbor was flying the Mexican Flag and the veteran who happened to live down the street came to him and asked him to add USA flag right next to Mexican flag front of the house.

I was referring to the veteran. I can see why it's offensive, but it's not his place to dictate what people can do on their properties.
However, the Mexican should know that it's not proper to fly another nation's flag above the nation's flag. But still... it wasn't the veteran's business to force someone to take down the flag.
I just think there are other priorities for one to focus on rather than the flag.

Yes, it does mean more to the veterans. They served their country and they should be honoured for it.
