oh realy? explain that vrs calls to a hearing person who have altell cell phone before 7pm get charged per min it happened to my gf's son he got that bill and saw those charges coming from our vp!! it is not right for companies to be money(smells) greedy

29¢ and we will be totally broke as we bitching on the customer service to hurry up. Not great idea. That's what toll-free is for when call. Duh!

For friend or family - ehhh

Okay, so let me get this straight: I use a VP service to call my mom's cell phone number whose service provider is Alltel. So, my mom will be charged 29 cents a minute? That's discrimination! :(

Of course, I'm not deaf and have very little knowledge of ASL (I doubt there are deaf who live in Altha, FL (rural; west of Tallahassee), which I currently live in until few months later), but thanks for bringing this up.

let me explain clear

that for point to point on mvp or any other video phone devices

right now i am call custmor care see what up

ahhhhh i get it from cusmotr care

use thos for toll free call fro hearing to call you 877-467-4877 then use your purple number to calll you will be no charge forn heariing

Hearing people who call your 10-digit number for VRS may be charged long distance fees. This is not related to the MVP - this is related entirely to the telephone system that has been around for 100 years. No VRS company can control that.

Point to point calls, that use the internet, do not cost anything.

Wow, many of you believe rumours started by a drunken guy at the bar! :rofl:

There is no such thing as bill charge for usage plans anytime in near future, and nope toll free 10 digit number will remain even long after June 30th, and EVEN past Nov 12.

So quit going over the Tavern, please start listen to the professionals.

That is right, the VRS users, that had their VP connected to who? Of course the Internet service provider and they do not care how you connect them. There is no long distance charges though ISP, because ISP is NOT a telephone company. For hearing people they hook up their telephone including wireless phone directly to the Telephone company not Internet (Of course BIG DIFFERENCE), and because hearing people connect to telephone company, the Telephone company has system where there is bill for usage, so bam there it is. And yes VRS provider have zero control over that. Telephone companies have no relationship with telephone companies at all.
