I've never tried this because I always gotten free hearing aid batteries from Deaf school when I was in mainstream school and Deaf school in New Zealand.

Hearing aid batteries will be free if you are under 21 years old and an full time student.

You could find out from your WINZ manager, whether they will send $$$ the prices of hearing aids batteries.. if they do, show them the proof of purchases with a receipt.

in australia. its free if youre under 21. but if your over 21 . be a membership (yellow card ) $32 per year from hearing centre. it covers hearing tests, moulds ,batteries and services. So its better to pay the membership card to cover everything you need. otherwise you pay redicklous fees for test, repairs etcetc.

I can get 24 batteries (3 month supply by their calculations) for $1 under medicaid in NY. Its going to be different for each state and county. Your best bet is to ask your local audiologist what the policy is.

ok i brought ha and fm stright out because me and the deaf school have diffent ideas about what i need. And weather im in full time or not(im doing 5 through the correspondence school and polytech courses because I need another learning disability not related to hearing to get into the deaf school) so im going to ask winz for batteries will let you no how it goes

Good news winz are paying for my batteries at a rate $1.75 so over a month it adds up to $7.00 a month the cost of the batteries
