yes I have pain headache worst to terrible wow bad risk my cochlear implant is very easy I have screw up because health because doctor think so force convicd to my parents I said yes but I mistake learn it

I experience confused and communication tough

I remove my implant I research search find link, alldeaf member help me really wonderful I was lucky remove implant 2 hours! not serious! I was live safe feeling better! I quit on my cochlear implant affect to my headache often terrible
dangerous on risk headache and often illness!

that's because whoever (especially other doctors) said anything bad about him can be sued for defamation. and also it will not have a good impact for their careers so it's just best for them to keep their mouths shut and earn $$$$$.

it's just out of courtesy. you are free to NOT answer that question.

"world renowned" doesn't mean jack squat to me but what I do know is that a very good surgeon is always sensitive to your needs and very humble. what I'm hearing here sounds like your surgeon is a very cocky one and not a very nice person. Sounds like he will make a very costly mistake one day that will end his career and nobody is going to help him.

Medical colleagues are not often "starstruck" by each other, a good surgeon isn't going to let you suffer under his or her care to protect the rep. of some other doctor.

WOW me too! I get so confused I forget where I am, and Its so scary! I forget what I was doing, who I was with, everything :( also have hard time communicating during an attack--cant sign because Its hard to use hands and Its hard to speak or open my mouth so I make a grunt but people dont understand. Its good to hear its a short operation!

at first I thought that, But then I joked with him (he has HUGE hands) and he seemed to come more personal.

I dont know if it could of been prevented or not, if it was my body react to it it could of been any Doctor in the world with same results.

I know tough not easy I fought to doctor because I am very serious I told my parents force me I said no my father said good cochlear implant

I feeling hurting because reason believe it because terrible SPRACA force me oral because I against to doctor refused surgical because I search another good doctor observed I figure out! I am tried told many because doctor waste money $$$ Money cost because waste of expesnive, I told my insurance health because government pay for my health i am lucky I want to remove my implant because beep noise and mess on my brain I am not attention because I was anxiety suffer I am very pain reason life!I want to remove my implant

Dr.Brain from Bc is very nice good help implant evaluation, I complaint to because SPRCA, I can't tell doctor back up I want to please confidental family doctor respect to my right I am truth I am feeling because frustrated and pain my cochlear implant

He said okay feeling me, I am said pissed off because doctor is not nice on edmonton is lie play games, I am truth I told doctor understand no problem


he is lie and shame because take an advantage money waste of time money
I am not trust to them! It is very expensive on serious!

And you seem to feel so much better since being explanted. I remember even some people on AD tried to tell you that the CI was not causing your problems. I am glad that you stood up for yourself and did what you felt was the best for you and your health.

also, did anyone with a CI notice a change in their pupils? While in high school I had a bad attack that landed me in the ER who sent me to and eye specialtist because of something un-normal--they realized my pupils were diffrent sizes and the side that was implanted reacted to light slower (normal eyes react the same--even if you shine a light in only one eye!). They asked if I was hit on the head or had any trama which I havent but thats what they said cause this, I never had this before my implant!

Yes. Also, Mathew Fowler finally had his CI removal in Wisconsin after years of getting severe migraines and too many medication to reduce pain, but that medication did not help him at all. Once his CI removal, Mathew finally felt much better and did not need any medication at all.

I have different my taste half I think so cause on symptom I don't remember said on facial, I forget name! my family doctor knew :)

Sounds like they believed you had post concussion syndrome.

There's something horrifying about mold in the CI. :shock: I'm glad he's better.
 
I understand that any surgical procedure there is some "difficulty". To some of the above what about all persons who had/have a Cochlear Implant -now WITHOUT THE ABOVE STATED PROBLEMS- Luck? The "right surgeon"?




I acknowledge that I have had my Implant just 4 years- so far no "pupil problem" (I have been checked by the eye doctor -last 5 years-so far okay!)

Not exactly wondering what might happen- "implant wise"- over the next 25 years when I reached "old age of 100".
