Christmas Gifts

The greatest present I got was staying over my friends' for Christmas and getting the chance to finally learn how to play mahjong at last! I love playing that game now.

Got lots (too much, I think) of German candies and sweets from my parents (they sent me a package full of German sweets! Now I need someone to eat it for me! ha) Of course, they helped me out with apartment.

Another package came from my sister, with hard cidre from Vermont, more German sweets, 3 bags of Wawa coffee, and a DVD.

Grandmother and Uncle gave me cards with money, which I used for a new TV for my living room.

That's pretty much it. I had a great Christmas this year though.

Okay, I got wonderful lot xmas...

$60 Dollars cash from My hubby. I will plan to buy Grilled Electric
$250.00 Chq from My hubby's Gramma
$50.00 Chq from my hubby's Dad and his 2nd wife.
Handmade Santa Doll from my hubby's Mom and her 2nd Hubby.
My 3 kids will buy me gifts BOXING DAY.. Their own allowance.. I told my kids don't buy before xmas cost them $$ waste money... Prefer wait until after xmas. My kids say okay.. I love 3 kids save their pocket.. instead waste money cost.

I got stocking "Paper says " You will get brand new computer on January" I was jumped and excited.. I knew it's from my hubby put it.. My hubby was lauff'n so hard.

i had a great day here in Missouri with MizzDeaf and her family --

got the usual things and ofc got the usual tradition of getting BOOKS!! haha

but the BIGGEST event this Christmas holiday is the arrival of my cousin and his wife's baby girl!!!!!! her name is Maya and she arrived Dec 26th here in Missouri! MizzDeaf and i have been to the hospital to see mom and baby and both are doing great -- baby is so CUTE!!!!!!!!! and my cousin is a nervous new dad LOL
 
I am most happy about being with family this year... so the company was my gift.

But I also did get some material gifts:
From the folks (aka Santa): Gift cards to AMC theatres (because I always go see open captioned movie almost weekly), Trader Joes (I love that market); and Costco (I shop there too)
A "K" initalized wallet
Lots of snacks, and a toothbrush lol (because I'm almost impossible to shop for... I understand ;))
From my cousin/best friend: A heat infared massager, she thought to get me one because I once embarrassed her while in Philly, my back was killing me so we went into a department store and I found a massager and looked for an outlet at the store and used it while moaning aloud... lol
and got a crystal vase in the White Elephant exchange game

Our christmas was great, even though I was sick with bronchitis and flu, and my 3 year old was sick also with a cough, then found later he has pneumonia and flu.. but he didnt let his sickness stop him from being happy he was happy with his presents :D He got Leapster (from Leapfrog) with kindergarten cartridge and another called Read, Write & Draw.. he loves those! Ever since he got it he has been playing with it all the time. He loves playing games that's educational which is good. He also got a educational computer game. :) :) Kieran, my other son (now 10 months old) got a lot of stuffed animals he loves teddy bears so he got a couple.. and a plush winnie the pooh and tigger stuffed animal :D My hubby and I got a lot of nice gifts for what we needed, a new toaster oven, flannel bed comforter, bed sheets, new clothes, new coats, I got a nice lenox stuff, which is a cat with a butterfly on its nose, etc alot more. :D But it didn't matter what we got.. important thing is for kids to be happy and spend time with them on christmas :) :)

I am curious, for everyone who got money gifts, what will u do with it? I am trying to figure out if i should buy some small pieces of clothing and makeup or pool it up and buy a Louis Vuitton piece

I got a red wood desk, a red wood bookcase, a red wooden office chair (all the same color), a tool set, a book about wines, and a $.

That's up to you. How desperate are you for that piece? If you really want it, then I suggest you save up. If it doesn't really matter, then spend it!

Ah...Oh yes... I learned from my birth sister and used to be after xmas then shopping anything want to buy...

I was told my kids, why not next year.. Will put your xmas stocking only $$$$ then next day, you can go shopping for Boxing Day.. as save lot of bargin which the price reduced.. instead regluar price.
My kids has their own allowance which working newspaper delivery.. instead ask my pocket expense. :) My kids love to buy their own expense instead me.
 
Hello everyone! For Christmas, I got NOTHING! :rofl: ;)

Just kidding. I got DVD player with VCR, a Cross necklace (Jesus cross- very beautiful), chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate. :lol: Heh. That's about it. I don't want a lot, because I have my family and I'm very happy with who I have right now.... my husband, and our three boys, that are God best gifts I ever recieved.

Jeremy & Sarah: AppleBee's from my grandparents from Colorado, pasta pots from my grandparents (from Northern IL), glitter blue lava lamp from my uncle Mike & Aunt Patti, $100 check from my granparents (from Southern IL) for late wedding present.

Jeremy: Kentucky Wildcats sweatshirt, $60 in cash, Black Suedue colonge (from Avon) from Jeremy's mom, 2 wrangler pants, 2 Bungle Boy flannel sleeve, another colonge (dont remember the brand) from my grandparents (from Northern IL), $25 check from my grandparents (from southern IL),3 white tiger pictures with frame from my brother David, 2 wildkats t shirts, addias running shoes from me.

Sarah: Pregnancy clothes from Carson Scott Pirare, 2 pants, 2 flavored lip gloss from my grandparents (from Northern IL), Pregnancy clothes and coat from Old Navy, a packpage of White Diamonds pefume which is my favorite including the lotion and body wash from that brand, platium diamond necklace from my mom, $25 check from my grandparents (from southern IL) and a teddy bear from my dad.

Still not done yet.. gonna get money or gift certicate from my great grandma and my dad said he will take me and Jeremy shopping on Jan. 9th so what a nice christmas present from him... hehe.

We had a great Christmas though! :) And I got to try eggnog for the first time nd they are awesome! :)
