MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Well, Christmas is here, and here's my gifts:

A couple of clothes
Some Christian books
Some jewelry (bracelet, earrings, pins, and a cross necklace)
Personalized Stationery with "Nancy" on it
CD Boombox (it's also a tape player and a radio).
and of course, those new PJs for winter.

WHAT DID YOU ALL GET FOR CHRISTMAS? :)

... hmph, it is hard to tell my gifts apart because some are belated birthday gifts and so on....

- a purple roses necklace by brother
- black velvet belt with beads and shells sewn on by bro's gfd
- a red crocheted "hat/beanie" for ladies by the gfd
- two lottery tickets by Mom
- digital camera bag (lately, i have used my sock- CLEAN one- to protect my digital camera) by mom
- radio-controlled mini-racer car (i haven't figured that toy out because it won't let the controller go... *straining*)
- a metal chain key that can carry two picture by mom's friend
- a kit of nail care with four nail polish colors (i love painting my fingernails, :D )
- a game of marbles on this... box. from Mom, she has no idea what this is but thought it looks fun.

belated birthday gift: a nifty checkered frosted lamp from Ikea

.... that is all.. oh and a funded trip to Mammoth Lakes, of course :-D so I am fine with it. :) I just want some little more money for me to spend on myself, haha.
 
well I have mostly clothes and shoes, will get a new video cards for my computer to get upgrade better system for mine.
 
I dont know all of them yet cuz my friends havent given it to me, they will after break......

I got 3 new shirts, a fleece blanket, 5 brain puzzles (which I solved within a hour), a couple religious verse-a-day book (told you my parents were extremely religious!), a leadership book, and a gift card to BestBuy. I'll hold that gift card until I get back to Rochester, less to pack that way! :thumb:
 
My 1st Christmas "Gift" was my paycheck was $200 short cuz they forgot to add 16 hours to my time card. BLAH.

My 2nd Christmas "Gift" was my Visa ATM card stolen. So right now, I have a -$450 or more balance in my checking account. REAL FUN!!!
 
It's been long day for me on Christmas Day.. I had to take our baby Allen to ER.. that his temp wont go down since Eve day.. I arrived ER.. his temp was 104.4... which i gave him tyentol and motrin and fluids.. it didnt take or keep him down... so I spend all day in ER.... They couldnt find what's wrong so they had to pump him alot of motrin to try break his fever.. While I was in ER with Allen.. nice of interpreter spend all day with us that she have family at home awaiting for dinner together.. So I do too.. But I told my man and kids go ahead to go over at my mom's place for dinner and save some meals and desserts for us.. hehe
Finally Allen's fever broke 6 hours later.. and all the tests that they took from Allen (blood test, urine test & nose swap for RSV ).. all turned out fine.. so Dr said that it looks like influzena.. so i came home alone with Allen at around 6:30pm.. family came home 1/2 hr later.. we were exhausted.. Allen is back to his character.. whew!..
What my man and I got.. wow!..
2 tickets for Hot Air Balloon rides from my sister..
one year family membership at State Mn Zoo..
Smoothies Blender! from my mom --woo! I love smoothies

Of course digital camera.. and I got nice wrist watch for my man..

Today, this morning I woke.. i looked in livingroom.. still mess from yesterday .. wraps and stuffs.. told kids to clean up.. heh! and kitchen too.. I am trying to absrob my energy today so i can make homemade banana waffles and strawberry/banana smoothies.. Yum!
We are thankful that Allen isnt serious illness like other poor children who died from influenza in past weeks. God bless ya all ! :)

Hey got to ask you something,.... is that rip off..
First Last week-- my man's work gave out to workers $25 dollars Cub (food store) gift cerficates.. then... he got paycheck last Tuesday.. found out that it already deducted from his check as taxable.. uh?

Well, the $200 they forgot will be added to this paycheck. The stolen card, so far they charged over $800 on it. BLAH
 
IMO I think christmas is about the people you're with, not the presents you got. The best present I got was being able to be with the people I was with.

But if I HAD to make a list of all i got.. :D

From Lindsey (tinystrawberry) - a basket of goodies - twizzler, hershey's treasures, hot chocolate with a mug and a candy cane, and a gift certificate to a very cool store (hot topic for plus size women!)

From Lindsey's grandma - a plush snow man and a little message for me.. "Congratulations for working to make your life the one you want and not settling for the one you were dealt. This is to help with school. Onward and upward!!" With that I got 200 bucks :)

From my parents - a gally beanie baby doll (from dad as you know my dad's a gally student) and a cloth scroll that talks of inner peace. I also got a playstation with 2 games (monster's inc and crash bandicoot 2). Lastly a nightlight (im not scared of the dark FYI) but my mom cldnt think of anything else cause I know she couldnt afford much. The playstation was split between her and Bill as well, so I was content.

From my birth mom - a check for 25 bucks

From Bill's mom i got a DVD - "catch me if you can"

From Bill - i got a gift certificate to barnes and noble, and.. well.. you'll see ;)

Dvd player which was on my X mas list, i did also ask for a golf clubs too so i can join dad for some fun and not steal his golf clubs, we both will do that for x mas shopping i think.

got chicken soup for the soul of hawaii ( ABT TIME I WANTED THAT BOOK and had to POSTPONE buying it cuz bills got in my way)

A HOMEMADE BAMBOO CUP HOLDER AND ASHTRAY STAND from my sis and bro in law ( I LOVED THE GIFT hes SO TALENT! will show pic today :) )

Shirt that im wearing right now says BLAH BLAH BLAH with monkey on top and monkey on the sides it's cute thats from my neice and newphew and my other mom on rach's side ( my sister) Dalleen ( my neice) picked it out for me, jordy said whatever my sis get i get which is cute!

an RF modlulator for the dvd as i have satellite dish box, a vcr and tv and now DVD inculded so we're going to hook it up today

Lilo got mommy soap for bath, and a carton of ciggies ROFL! hahaha

Lilo got a HORDE of COOKIES, TOYS and she got sick on one, ate too much bacon bits bone so she got sick this morning on that *groan*

I got two coffee mugs one is with PAWS of a doggie and my fave color blue!
and a ofc whatelse is new Starbucks X mas cup from my sis to go with the stand i got
and a homemade coupon! which is adorable!

hummm im trying to think what else i got ghahahah
that's it :)

I'm surprised they were able to take out money with your ATM card? I thought that ATM card doesn't allow a person to withdraw money when there's not enough money on your account. I also thought that most ATM cards were limited to its withdrawal per day. Mine won't let me withdraw money if I have less than I ask for. It also only limits me to withdraw $200 per day.

Geez. This year was my first year to work on Christmas Eve, until 6pm. Poop.
Soon I got to my grandma's house, the whole family ALREADY opened gifts without me :-( (Long story)
I gotten..
2 $20 and $50 gas card
$130 bucks in cash
A nifty book
Socks (okay)
A book that I finally found..
underwear clothes to keep me warm

My family..
Mom and dad- gave me full in paid paper for my new tire, and rim.
Brother- gave me a cool bouncy carebear thing..
Santa- I Know.. haha.. Scanner, a bath thing, that makes bubbles, bath fizz things candy, more underwear clothes, first aid kit for my car :)
Jamie gave me a cool friendship necklace, and cute frame.

I know how you feel. I've worked on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. Ugh! It's the pits!
 
Well, I got clothes, Pinocchio purse, SF makeup case, travel size bath, candles, and money.

Today, I got a cute Precious Moments Angel for my birthday. Later tonight, I will go to Lindy's restaurant at Flamingo Hotel with a friend for my birthday dinner.

Ouch it sucks. I hope cops will arrest someone who stole your atm card soon.

I worked xmas eve till 5, and I also worked the day after xmas (this year and last year) and you know I work in retail! :) The day after xmas and thanksgiving are the worst days to have to work in retail =/ But I survived!! :P
 
Umm... I got 3 shirts One Jeans....White diamond perfume.. which my favorite!....socks, undies... bras.. lol... and ummm.....candles.. Gift cerfs 50.00....got some cash from my grandmas... Thats about all.... My son made me a xmas plant with his pic in it .... And Both of them made me breakfast on xmas morning... isnt that sweet? awww.. Thats about all I ve gotten... I really didnt want anything....But sure love what they gave me for xmas.
