Child related question

I am hearing,and my soon to be husband is hearing impaired.I am not sure the reason since he himself doesn't know the truth and no matter who I ask,No one will tell me or tell him..

How likely is it that we will have hearing impaired/deaf children?

Looking for any useful information possible.

Not likely. I am HOH (profoundly deaf in L ear, HOH in R ear), and my ex husband was hearing and our daughter is fully hearing.

As a matter of fact, my DD is a child that is scoring consistently ahead of her classmates on the quarterly skills tests, she has friends, and never ceases to amaze me.

So, I wouldn't worry about whether your child will be HOH, Deaf, or Hearing. Just know that in any circumstance and provided the right tools, your child will succeed just as much as any other child and perhaps beyond.
