Chicago Man Kills Brother Over $2 Debt

Yeah... it was actually $2.22 that they argued about. ;)

Only $2.22 for cocaine? I thought cocaine cost so much more than that? Like $20 for a tiny rock? I honestly have no idea....I just thought drugs were much more expensive than that...

Perhaps, he owed money on the plastic bags that the cocaine came in? :dunno:

I've never heard of that.

I wonder where they get those tiny small plastic bags that the cocaine came in, since I have never seen them at the grocery stores. Do they order them off the internet or something?

You can get those bags at hardware stores, craft stores, or a place like The Container Store. :)

And... I know this because I've seen them, not because I'm a crack dealer. ;)

Geez

Seriously, What the hell was the man thinking of killing his own brother over a small measly 2 bucks? *shakes my head*

I also was reading the article and it says -

After the stabbing, Phillip Binder allegedly told his aunt she was lucky she didn't die too.

It just makes me sick to know that some people are even willing to kill their own family member over something so absurd.

Agreed. If I killed every family member that has borrowed money from me and "forgotten" to pay it back, I'd have no family left!:giggle: In fact, I still tell my nephews that I won't "Loan" them money when they ask, because we both know it isn't a loan.:giggle: I just give it to them if I can afford it, and if I can't I say no.

Haha! I wouldn't have any family members left if I were to do that too.

I sometime loan some money to my sisters or brother but I don't hold a grudge at them just because they "forgot" to pay me back. They've loaned me some money too. Once in a while, I'd have an "oops" moment to apologize for forgetting to pay them back and in the end, we both are able to pay each other back. So, it's all good.

But then, Yeah - This article is saddening but yet, impeccable.

Yes, it is a sad statement that our society in some ways has forgotten that family and friends are far more important than a few dollars.

I am the same way. A family member in need I will give them money. NOT LEND.

That way I don't expect them to pay back. Usually they do when I am in need they help me likewise.

No amount of money is worth a life. Family or not.
