I doubt that the poster paid to read it either. Just indiscriminate use of posting links that can't be accessed.

right, i hate it when they "time" documents for public use then demand registration.

Yep. But it happens more often than not. IMO, posting a link to an article that cannot be accessed in it's entirety is less useful than not posting a link at all.

Foxrac, I am not registered either. Sometimes they make their webpages public for a day or two and then lock them and demand that you register first. It's annoying as hell.

I remember Google used to have "Registration Required" in search results but it disappeared. I would just skip those that ask for registration.

I don't like forced registration forms at all. It's bad. I leave them.

You accusing NETROX of not reading an article before he started a thread??? It was his link that would not open.

I don't know what's going on with your article. I could open it...then I couldn't ....then I could again....then I couldn't. One of my Boston Globe articles is doing that too.

Anyway.....Anything that involves Humana......*run away* IMO.

Yup, second here.

I wish that I can read whole of article or you may try to copy/paste before full article expire.

Does Americans have option to pick Medicare that isn't part of Humana?

Nope. But a nice attempt at twisting. Just ineffective.

Well that is the link that wouldn't open.... :hmm:

Notice NETROX's explanation to FOXRAC...... Of course I am not accusing NETROX......Several news sites do this.

I wasn't referring to links that don't open.

Then what were you referring to because it sure does look like you're referring to links that don't open.

I was referring to links that have an abstract posted, but must pay a fee to actually read the article. Abstracts are not support for anything. The article must be read to determine the support of the material contained in the article.

Looks like you did refer to link(s) that won't open.

See above. Also, posts 5 6 and 7, on which the discussion was based, indicates I am referring to articles that cannot be accessed from the link provided unless one pays a fee. Therefore, it is quite probable that the person using this link did not access the article, either, and is simply using a Google search to pull up abstracts. Abstracts are useful only for determining if the actual article is something that could be of use.

You mean 4,5 and 6?

Because 7 is a discussion on having to register.....

Log in or Subscribe was taken from the OP article. Not his fault though....It happens with news sites.
