I remember that my co-worker´s wife who has menopause got pregnant aged 48 unexpectly. They had healthy baby boy. He´s 12 years old now. I know that because I was pregnant with Danny on the same year as my co-worker´s wife.

It could get pregnant anytime.. It could surprise your ex´s wife some day if they carry on without use sex protection or what.... ??? Surprise is really lovely. It get some hard to pregnant but surprise would be nicer.

I remember that co-worker told me that his wife had period problems due her age. They thought it´s menopause because she had funny feeling. She already has 3 grown children that´s why she know what she had pregancy experiences so she thought it´s menopause. Later she realized that she expect a baby. It shock her totally but she is happy and has no regret to have him.

Yes, it´s interesting question.

I would be scare if I has menopause and would doubt either I am pregnant or not. Look at my co-worker´s wife.... It´s very rarely of all.

I will have my man undergo a vasectomy and make sure it is 100% working--no swimmers left! Then no worries about losing my childfree status! ;)

EXACTLY

I also will get my hubby to do it to make sure that I am not pregnant when menopause comes. :P

I have been diagnosed with fibroids and myr doctor has recommended a hysterectomy

yes exactly, I did not want to have hysterectomy. It will cause hormones changing. I did rather to have cryomyolysis to kill fibroids tissue which it called embolization. I am not sure if a candidate for embolization. Otherwise, my concern is about the fibroids have been surgically removed often grow back. Fibroids makes you extremely tired, cramps, bleeding and bloat ! I have anemia which I took iron tablet everyday to rebuild my cells.

Hysterectomy will be recovery 6 to 8 weeks.

Embolization would be only one week.

I need to seeing second opinion doctor.

what I have is partial hysterectomy...my doctor took utureus, tubes and cervix out and leave my eggs there...the purpose is to leave the eggs there is to have natural hormones to change...I already have change of life..I don't have any more period...I felt alot better...what I had is endometrisis and fibroid tumors that;s why my doctor recommend me to have partial hysterectomy...I have no choice...I felt it was worth it for me to take my doctor's advice...yes hysterectomy takes 6 weeks to heal and it was not that bad...

change of life means you have no more period and it starts to change your body everything around...for example, your taste buds, your sweat glands, and your sex drive...you will experience sweating at nights when you go to bed...sex drive could be from lust every night to feeling no sex at all...it depends on the women's body...it is only temporary from what I was told by my doctor...interesting...

There can be a lot of reasons for so many potty breaks in the night. A kidney infection, too much to drink before bedtime, lots of reasons. I have the left arm numbness. I was worried it was an artery or something, but a neurologist did the teste and I have a bad ulner nerve. That is the nerve to the hand that rund around the elbow. Whack it and you have hit your "funny bone". They can move the nerve if it is severe, but if not it is no big deal. A simple M.D. checkup with all your complaints up front will tell him/her where to look and what tests are needed. Cheer up and good luck!

I got result from doctor later late evening....
My elbow to hand.. are normal.. isn't "Ulner Nerve" send me to E.M.G. at the city. I have to drive and to go there.. *UGH* hate 30 minutes drive away from my homearea (small town). Will go E.M.G. run test for me on April 22nd. Made me turn into...

reason annoying my left arm/hand kept still on... can feel pain electroued for no reason. Sick of it. Afterall few days from now, I cannot lift anything objects.. I hate reilable on my kids or hubby favor for my help and lift things. *ugh* That make me upset more.. Scary for me being lose my hand or arm wha..ever... Yes that what I felt concern about Artery.
Drink before I goes bedtime.. Yes I did drink every night before I goes bed.. My favorite: Rolo or Coffee crisp hot matte... while watch t.v. then goes bed. That reason problem sleeping ? *hmmmphhhh*

Besides, women definitely get pregnant at age 35 and 40 and 45, even 50. How many times have we heard of "surprise" pregnancies when a woman thought she was in menopause? Lots!

True, that´s what I mentioned about my co-worker on my earlier post.

Peri means "before" so this is the time before menopause. Every woman is different. For example, the age that menopause starts can be affected by cigarette smoking (women who smoke usually begin menopause earlier than non-smokers), your family history (women often go through the stages of menopause at about the same age as their mothers and older sisters did), medical treatments (cancer treatments can cause menopause to start early), and surgery (usually when the ovaries are removed or a complete hysterectomy).
Very interesting... guess that makes sense. Considering that I don't have these kind of problems and it shouldn't be a problem for me when I can have more children after 35. *fingercrossing*

Before you tie hubby to the bed and have your way with him ;) talk to your mother (and older sister(s) if they are in their 40s) to ask how old she was when she went through menopause. If you don't have a mother, then ask biological women relatives on your mother's side of the family like your aunt, older sister, and cousin. If you're adopted, then start from the time you started your first period and add about 35 years. That will give you an idea of when to expect to begin menopause.
LOL actually I'm already aware of this... mom and I started a little late when we were almost 15 and she had menupause at 50. I've got 17 more years to play. Not that I'm planning on getting pregnant that late because I'd like an early retirement. ;)

Heard it plenty of times! My mom's sister is 23 years younger than her and the auntie was an oopsie. hehe It happens!
